A rooftop terrace with loungers and a bar section offers a relaxing spot, and there's also a small gym and a library.
3. Room Quality
The hotel's 80 rooms are generally described as clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, blending traditional style with modern touches. Many rooms are noted for being spacious, featuring comfortable beds and often a sofa. Half of the rooms boast antique-style mahogany furniture, while the other half are more modern, all designed to evoke a Portuguese home. Rooms also include flat-screen TVs, minibars with complimentary waters, slippers, and robes.

- Dated Facilities/Decor: Some guests have described the hotel as having an "old-fashioned feel" or being "a bit outdated," although this is often balanced by appreciation for its "old world charm" and well-maintained heritage details.
- Front Desk Service: A single review mentioned a less than friendly or distracted experience with the front desk staff, contrasting with the general praise for the service.

Our room was ready when we arrived in the morning around 10am ( Check in is 3pm) the room with two twin beds, was incredibly CLEAN , from the wooden floor to the carpet and the bathroom floor. I wasn't afraid of walking barefoot. What I noticed is that they pay attention to DETAILS. Everything we ne...

Loved the ambiance, old world feel! Breakfast staff was great! Front desk staff needs a bit more training on customer service. Seemed a bit distracted and forgetful (They forgot to let us know our rooms were ready after waiting an hour had we not asked). Most not so friendly either. Almost felt like we (the guests) were a bother. Otherwise - overall - good hotel.
