- Facility Fee & Credit: While a daily food and beverage credit is offered with the resort fee, some guests found the "must use" aspect restrictive or the credit amount insufficient given other hotel prices (e.g., a $10 latte).
- Water Pressure: One guest noted that the water pressure and temperature in the bathtub/shower could be lacking for a four-star hotel.
- Environmental Concerns: A suggestion was made for larger water dispensers and recycling options to reduce single-use plastic bottles.

On February 14th, after a 6-hour drive from San Francisco, I arrived in Los Angeles early in the morning around 6:00 AM. I was in town for few days and I chose Luxe Sunset Boulevard expecting a clean, safe, and comfortable place to rest. The hotel looks nice from the outside, and valet service was polite. An older gentleman at valet greeted us and took our car, and everything seemed fine at first...

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. We booked this hotel after looking through their website photos. Absolutely misleading and they only photograph and market one room they have that is updated. A total catfish hotel with rooms that felt dirty, to say the least. Mysterious stains all over the carpet and drapes and a strong smell of mold/mildew. All of the rooms are so dark and felt more like a m...

SCAM!! This hotel engages in dishonest billing practices. They failed to disclose a “facility fee” until after my stay, a $40 a night fee supposedly for amenities that were mostly unavailable. This fee is not included in the already outrageous $200 per night rate. The hotel and rooms are nowhere near nice enough to justify this price. I have never experienced anything like this. Guests should also...

Totally unsatisfied with the hotel. My husband booked a hotel based on a recommendation from a friend who was saying that hotel is luxury. First of all, the name of the hotel is misleading. Hotel next to a busy cross section with non-stop traffic day and night can’t be called luxury. It all would have been great if only we wouldn’t have gotten a room right in the building next to a noisy highway o...

The Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel is fine overall and met my needs for a business trip. The rooms are a good size, but they feel tired and dated. The food in the bar area was average and nothing particularly memorable. The hotel is functional and convenient, but there isn’t much luxury to match the name. It works if you need a comfortable place to stay for work, just don’t expect a high-end experien...

Nice hotel, though I think ‘Luxe’ might be overselling it. The rooms are a little tired, though everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was just ok. Polite and helpful staff. I hope they’re paying their valets well because there’s no way I’m tipping if I’m forced to pay for valet parking. No self park option here.
