3. Room Quality
The rooms at The Box House Hotel are a major draw. They are described as "generously sized modern and airy loft-style" accommodations, a welcome rarity in New York City. Options range from standard guest rooms to spacious suites, apartments, and penthouses. Each space is thoughtfully decorated with original artwork and hints of nostalgia.
Key room features include:

Many guests report that the staff goes "above and beyond" to ensure a pleasant stay. The front desk operates 24 hours a day, ensuring assistance is always available. The atmosphere was very warm as soon as you walk in the building. Beautiful refinished wide wooden floors. The artwork was sublime. There were vintage pieces placed tastefully throughout the whole hotel, including the rooms: from victrolas to vintage books. The staff was accommodating, friendly and warm. Most of all, Box House Hotel was very clean. My wife and I will return.

Staying at The Box House Hotel is not simply an overnight experience—it is an immersion into thoughtful design, genuine hospitality, and a level of care that is increasingly rare in New York City. From the moment you arrive, the hotel’s art-forward aesthetic immediately captivates. Every corner feels intentional: modern yet warm, stylish without pretension, and immaculately maintained. I booked a room for November 21st, but I mistakenly booked the 21st of December instead of November 21st. As a result, I ended up staying at the hotel and had to change our dates, incurring additional costs. I understand that this was ...

Such a great overall hotel. Whole hotel is so uniquely decorated including the rooms. Rooms are roomy and the bathroom is nice. Location is great. Only slight mixup when we checked in. We were handed room key so went to the room but the room was still being turned over. We just had to wait 10 mins. Nbd.

Stayed here with my wife for a weekend. Our room was a decent size and everything was clean. We couldn't hear any outside noise, though we could occasionally hear footsteps above us but we weren't really phased. We were able to find really convenient street parking, but I could imagine finding street parking during the week to be more of a challenge. Staff was really nice and the bar made good d...
