However, recent reviews indicate some mixed feedback, with a few guests noting concerns about ongoing renovations, perceived outdated rooms, and cleanliness, which has slightly impacted the sentiment for some.

- Exceptional Service: The friendly and attentive staff are frequently commended for their professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond, contributing significantly to a pleasant stay.
- Amenities: Features like the outdoor pool, sauna, and well-appointed rooms with designer details are highly appreciated.
3. Room Quality
QT Queenstown offers meticulously designed rooms with a contemporary and chic aesthetic aimed at providing a haven of relaxation. Room types vary, including the 37-square-meter QT King and Lake View King rooms, and the more spacious 45-square-meter QT 1-Bedroom Alpine Suite. Rooms are equipped with plush bedding, modern furnishings, and often feature floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize views. Bathrooms are sleek and luxurious, commonly featuring standalone baths and separate rainfall showers, along with designer amenities. In-room amenities often include Nespresso machines, a selection of teas, and a well-stocked "maxi-bar" with locally sourced treats. While many reviews praise the comfort and design, some recent feedback suggests that certain rooms may feel old or outdated and have experienced cleanliness issues.

The hotel's dining experiences are a significant highlight:
- Bazaar: This marketplace-style restaurant offers a vibrant breakfast experience. Guests can enjoy a wide array of fresh local produce, a la carte options like Turkish eggs and homemade rosti, and a full "QT Brekkie." The breakfast room, in particular, offers stunning views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables.

- Noise Levels: Some guests in non-lake view rooms facing the road have reported experiencing early morning traffic noise.
- Renovations & Outdated Feel: Recent reviews indicate that parts of the property might be undergoing renovations, with some guests feeling that rooms are old or outdated, not aligning with a five-star standard. There have been reports of 90% of the property being closed for renovations, impacting lake access.
- Cleanliness: A few recent complaints have surfaced regarding rooms not being cleaned properly or beds not being made adequately.
- Lack of Gym: Some guests have expressed disappointment that the hotel does not have a gym on-site, though ample outdoor activities and walking trails are available nearby.
- Parking Costs/Availability: Parking is available but incurs a fee (around NZD 30-35 per day), and some guests expressed frustration with limited parking and shuttle service.

The QT Queenstown is a pretty incredible property. The views are spectacular. You feel like you are above the town seeing it all but still being able to walk to so much in 5 minutes. And it feels luxe. The design was super cool and modern. The rooms are so comfortable. A perfect stay in this beautiful part of New Zealand.

A very enjoyable stay overall, with a really lovely room, but one that just fell a little short of five stars given the price and the current state of the shared spaces. What stood out: • Room: we stayed in a Lakeview Balcony Room, one of the higher-category rooms, and it was excellent — beautifully decorated, very comfortable and absolutely worth the upgrade. The lake views from the balcony were...

We really enjoyed our stay at QT Queenstown. The views were absolutely incredible and the room was very comfortable, which became real highlights of our trip. There were, however, a few things that took away from an otherwise great experience. There was a bit of a communication mix-up at check-in about what was complimentary in the minibar, which led to some confusion during check-out. We also ha...

Location is good, when the renovations are finished and the hill from town does not have to be climbed it will be better. Rooms are great, beds comfortable. The standout is the pastry chef, her little treats each evening were eagerly anticipated. The meal we had at Reds was ok, lacked love from the chef. Looked like a frozen dinner. The bar staff were very friendly.

This is an amazing property - highly recommend staying here. Location is amazing and the rooms are spacious and nice. Most importantly, the team there is great and super helpful with everything. Bruno and the concierge team also helped us navigate the planning really well especially with all the weather changes that happen in that area.

The hotel rooms themselves are nice with Dyson hair dryer which was a nice touch that’s where it ends. 5 star hotel this is not. From only giving decaf pods for our Nespresso maker in the room to never giving us the right equipment for the frother these details were missed at ever turn. the cleaning service to start was making our bed and giving towels at best. The restaurant would have no one din...
