We had 2 nights here in a Superior Suite. The hotel has a nice charm about it and the staff are very friendly. We had a couple of small issues that made our stay slightly less enjoyable. We checked in at 2.30pm but our room was not ready, so we had to wait about 40 minutes until it was ready. Not a big deal but as Gold Members we expected our room to be ready from when we advised we would be arriv...

Great experience. I usually look for a suite - the Prestige suite is absolutely worht the splurge. Very large (88 m2 or almost 1000 sq ft). Entree/ hall, desk/ work area. Large living and dining area. Well equipted mini bar/ coffee/ tea etc. Plenty of space to put a rollaway bed without making the room less attractive. As it's a corner, abundance of light/ windows and a couple of french balconies....

Staff were extra helpful in arranging a Milford sound tour for us and even getting an extra bed into the penthouse. Sabrina at the front desk was a delight and so welcoming. Only downside was that the property seemed a little understaffed at times (and th...

Our experience at the Sofitel in Queenstown was excellent. Not only because of the incredible location, the well appointed rooms, comfortable beds and polite service but I suffered a completely out of the blue, allergic reaction after eating seafood one night. Valerie from the front desk was amazing - organising an ambulance and keeping me calm the whole time. She went above and beyond and I was ...

The Sofitel Queenstown is in a fantastic location — right in the heart of town and within easy walking distance to everything. You really can’t beat the convenience. Parking, however, is on the pricey side at $50 per night. Check-in was flawless, and the service throughout our entire stay was exceptional — staff were friendly, attentive, and made everything effortless. Our room was big, spacious, ...
