Aggregated ratings often hover around 8.4 to 9.6 out of 10 for aspects like cleanliness, staff, and location. The sentiment is largely one of delight, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

2. Key Highlights

Guests consistently highlight several standout features:

  • Prime Location: Its unparalleled position in the UNESCO-listed Old Town, adjacent to the National Museum of History and Art and steps away from major attractions, is a constant source of praise.
  • Exceptional Service & Staff: The staff receives high marks for being polite, professional, helpful, friendly, and accommodating, often going "above and beyond" to ensure a pleasant stay.
  • Unique Design & Ambiance: Housed in the Gëlle Klack house, a building with timber frames dating back to 1510, the hotel beautifully harmonizes history and art. Its luxurious interior features original stone, wooden panels, Murano lighting, Italian design elements, and medieval architectural details. Many describe the hotel as an "architectural gem" or akin to an "art gallery."
  • Spacious Suites: The hotel exclusively offers suites, which are consistently noted for their spaciousness, comfort, and unique decor.

3. Room Quality

The hotel features 9 to 11 luxuriously decorated suites, each with a unique character often displaying original works of art. Rooms are described as spacious, comfortable, and clean, with English country-style decor, beamed ceilings, and in some cases, stone fireplaces. Amenities typically include king-size or twin beds, a sitting area, dining table, flat-screen satellite TV with digital channels, free Wi-Fi, a minibar, tea & coffee facilities, and modern bathrooms with free toiletries, hairdryers, and bathrobes. 6. Location & Accessibility

Hotel Parc Beaux Arts boasts an "incredible" and "best possible" location in Ville Haute, the historical center of Luxembourg City. It is situated next to the National Museum of History and Art and only about 180-591 feet (55-180 meters) from the Palais Grand-Ducal. Key attractions such as Bock Casemates, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Place d'Armes, and Chemin de la Corniche are all within easy walking distance. The area is surrounded by museums, shops, bars, and restaurants, making it an ideal starting point for cultural excursions and exploring the city's lively atmosphere. Public transportation is easily accessible, with Hamilius Tram Stop a 7-minute walk away, and Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg Station within a 12-minute walk. Luxembourg Airport (LUX-Findel) is approximately an 18-minute drive.

7. Value & Pricing

While specific pricing varies by date, the hotel is generally considered to be in a higher price bracket, with rates potentially starting from around €254. Guests' opinions on value for money are somewhat mixed, with some finding it "rather expensive for what it offers" while others feel it is entirely "worth the cost" given the luxurious experience, prime location, and excellent service. The exclusivity of all-suite accommodation and the unique historical setting contribute to its pricing.

8. Common Complaints

Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback, some recurring issues have been noted by guests:

  • Noise: Being in a lively central quarter, some guests have reported noise from nearby bars and nightlife, particularly on weekends, which can be an issue for rooms facing the street. While some reviews mention good soundproofing or triple-glazed windows that mitigate much of the noise, it remains a point of concern for a few.
  • Lack of Air Conditioning: The hotel is a historic building under monument protection and does not have central air conditioning. While electric fans are available upon request, this can be an inconvenience during warmer periods.
  • Minor Room Issues: Isolated complaints include difficulty reading in the evening due to lighting, some outlets not working, and in one instance, a bath tub being challenging due to its height and lack of grab bars.
  • Parking Cost: Self-parking is available but costs €35 per day, which some guests might find high, though public parking garages are also nearby.

We stayed 3 nights in January at this cosy hotel. From the start we were welcomed like family. The bedrooms were warm, cosy & very clean. We chose to have a light breakfast each morning in our room which was good value & a treat. The hotel itself is central to everything and close to lots of restaurants & bars. Overall we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had the perfect stay at this hotel. It was great from the second we arrived with the super kind receptionist until the end when we had breakfast at the cafe downstairs with the most hospitable barista and waiter. The room was spacious and cozy. The location is impossible to beat because it is in the heart of the city with only a 3 minute walk from the shopping district, Christmas markets, histo...

Do Not book here if you wish to sleep! Whilst the place it’s self is well kept and centrally located there is pub right opposite where people hang out drinking in the road till 4/5 in the morning shouting making it impossible to get any rest if your room faces it. The staff are all great and the restaurant too but unfortunately the noise issue really drops the overall experience.

This is a beautfiul hotel with really welcoming staff, very clean rooms and it is in the perfect location. The onsite restaurant is delicious and there are lots of cafes and sights nearby. The weather was cool when we visited but the room was lovely and warm and, despite such a central location, it was also quiet.

Best possible location in the old town. All sights and shopping within walking distance. Very nicely done old building with helpful and pleasent staff. Some steps in then building and in the room might be a bit difficult.
