3. Room Quality
The accommodations, including both hotel rooms and chalets, are described as clean, comfortable, spacious, and tastefully decorated. Rooms feature a traditional alpine style with modern comforts, some with stone fireplaces and writing tables. We’ve just had a fantastic stay at the Maierl Alm Hotel and honestly couldn’t fault it. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming — exactly what you want after a day travelling (or skiing!). We stayed in one of the chalets and it really made the trip special. It was beautifully designed and extremely well equipped, with our own private sauna, cinema room ...

Maierl Alm is a great spot with really good food and a fun music vibe. A bit on the pricey side, but the atmosphere totally makes up for it. Cozy inside, awesome outdoor seating, and super easy to reach both by car and directly on skis. Perfect place to chill, eat well, and enjoy the mountain vibes.

Attended a wedding here. The view is stunning, the atmosphere is quiet special. (The drive up can be sketchy if you happen to do it in rainy weather, which one should avoid. Also, parking up there can be problematic.) Most of the (mainly English speaking) staff are very polite and friendly. The food was delicious. Good wine selection.
