1. Overall Rating & Sentiment

Bottleworks Hotel garners overwhelmingly positive sentiment and exceptional ratings across various platforms. It has been honored with a Michelin One Key for both 2024 and 2025, recognizing its high standard of hospitality and guest experience. Further accolades include being named among USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards as the Best Boutique Hotel in the country and ranking in TripAdvisor's 2025 Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Awards, placing it in the top 1% of all listings worldwide for consistently exceptional reviews. Guests frequently describe it as a "genuinely wonderful hotel" with "exceptional" staff, with one traveler calling it "one of the best hotels I have stayed in."

2. Key Highlights

Guests consistently laud Bottleworks Hotel for its unique character, exceptional service, and stunning design. The hotel's distinctive Art Deco architecture, preserved from its past as a Coca-Cola bottling plant, is a major draw, featuring terrazzo floors, gold details, colorful ceramic tiles, and a grand winding staircase. Each hotel door is famously a shiny, bright, Coca-Cola red, adding to its charm.

Being the anchor of the Bottleworks District is another significant highlight. This mixed-use development offers a lively ecosystem of dining, shopping, and entertainment, meaning guests have a plethora of options right at their doorstep. Amenities such as a full-service spa, fitness center, and even a lobby pool table contribute to the luxurious and engaging guest experience. The hotel also provides sparkling and still water stations, Bluetooth speakers in rooms, and is pet-friendly, adding to its appeal.

3. Room Quality

The 139 guestrooms and suites at Bottleworks Hotel are described as spacious, well-appointed, and designed for ultimate comfort. Rooms feature air conditioning, minibars, and safes. Beds are outfitted with premium bedding, pillow-top mattresses, and plush duvets, ensuring a restful sleep. Many guests praise the comfort of the beds and quality of the pillows.

Bathrooms are equally luxurious, offering bathrobes, slippers, designer toiletries (often with a pleasant "Herby woodsy scent"), and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms boast exquisite marble bathrooms and walk-in rain showers, with larger suites featuring soaker tubs. Technology is seamlessly integrated with 65"-75" flat panel 4K HD Smart TVs, cable channels, and Chromecast, along with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Business travelers appreciate the oversized work stations, desks, and phones with complimentary local, long-distance, and international calls. Soundproofing is also noted as effective, ensuring a peaceful stay even during events.

A central dining hub is The Garage Food Hall, a sprawling 30,000 to 38,000 square-foot space within the Bottleworks District. It features over 25 local and international food vendors, along with live music, creating a vibrant community atmosphere. Examples of offerings include Modita (Asian-inspired cuisine, sushi, dim sum), Sundry and Vice (elevated cocktails with in-house syrups), Blue Collar Coffee (robust coffee, tea, and smoothie menu), The Fountain Room (Supper Club fare and prime rib), and Piedra Mexican Steakhouse. Indianapolis International Airport is approximately 10 miles distant. The location also provides easy access to other popular areas like Fountain Square and the Canal.

7. Value & Pricing

As a luxury hotel with a Michelin One-Key distinction, Bottleworks Hotel is positioned as a premium experience. The Michelin Guide itself notes that its service "provides significantly more than similarly priced establishments," suggesting excellent value for the quality offered. Room rates vary based on season, with prices starting from approximately $158. September typically sees the cheapest rates, while June is the most expensive. Average weeknight prices are around $257, and weekend nights average $274.

One notable cost is parking, which is available on-site for a fee, generally costing around $48 per day. While this is a common cost for downtown hotels, it's an additional expense for guests to consider.

8. Common Complaints

While the vast majority of feedback is overwhelmingly positive, the most consistently mentioned "complaint" or point of consideration for guests is the cost of parking. Public parking on-site is $48 per day. Additionally, one guest noted that parking might be located a block away from the hotel, which could be less convenient during inclement weather. Beyond this, there are no widespread or recurring significant criticisms reported in guest reviews, reinforcing the hotel's high standards and guest satisfaction.

I travel ALOT and always look for higher end and unique stays whenever possible and Bottle works did not disappoint. The history alone will take you on its on adventure. A few things to note: there isn't an official loading zone and did not seem like there was valet at the time I had arrived. No problem as there...

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a blast. Ronan at the front desk was so accommodating and kind. We were dazzled by the service. Food was great, staff were very attentive, this is a 10/10. From the time we parked and valet took our vehicle to the time valet dropped off our vehicle when leaving, the staff was absolutely amazing! The room was super clean, bed was so comfy, hunters shampoo made my hair feel so clean and refreshed! It was super quiet for sleeping and relaxing. The best part of it all was the beautiful display of art on the walls and the history behind the whole hotel.
