The room temperature was uncomfortably high; fortunately, we were able to ventilate the room by opening the windows. I ordered the sparkling wine for $68, which was unfortunately served in two glasses that were visibly soiled with lipstick stains. This is unacceptable, particularly given the occasion of a 25-year anniversary. No compensation or replacement glassware was offered. I have experienced...

Beautiful waterfront hotel with great rooms. Staff is always helpful and courteous a true pleasure. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Always clean linens and bedding. Any issues we have ever had staff and maintenance are fast and efficient to rectify any problem. Could not ask for a better view or accomodations in the Madison area.

We had a fabulous experience on Christmas Day with our family for dinner at The Statehouse. The Manager worked with us to get our family accommodated when we could not see reservations online and even added an extra seat for a family member who decided to attend from out of town the night before. The service was excellent, ambiance amazing, food delectable and entire experience top notch! I highly...

I am thoroughly impressed with the Edgewater. We booked a room and spa services for my friend's retirement celebration....on what was probably the coldest day of the year. To my surprise, Ryan greeted us, unloaded and parked the car, and coordinated a driver for our evening events. Chase was our driver to her party and dinner, and delivered her gifts to our room. Tiffany was my massage therapist f...

Staff is very kind and professional and location is convenient and pretty (on the lake). Rooms are clean. Rates are high for what it is, comparable to other places in the area. There isn't a pool outside of the spa and spa prices are high for Madison, too. I booked erroneously under the wrong rate (totally my fault) but wasn't able to cancel as it was within 24-hours and they couldn't make any adj...

Unfortunately, our experience at The Edgewater on New Year’s Eve was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, the hostess at the front (a brunette with long curly hair) told us there would be about a 10-minute wait for a table, which we had no problem with. She suggested we wait at the bar in the meantime. However, despite being told we would be seated shortly, we were never given a table. To ma...
