Our recent stay at the Lausanne Palace & Spa was nothing short of exceptional. Upon arrival, we were informed that the pool was unavailable due to maintenance. While this could have been disappointing, what truly defines a great hotel is how it responds — and the team went above and beyond in every possible way. They promptly arranged for us to enjoy the wellness facilities at their sister proper...

I have been visiting the city of Lausanne for many years, always seeing the hotel and wanting to have a nice apero with my parents. When we got there the atmosphere was nice, however we weren't sure how to order and no one seemed to help us. Eventually, we got our seats and ordered. While the drinks came in a decent timing we had ordered hot chocolate with cream but they informed us there was none...

I stayed in the Lausanne Palace for a business trip. The hotel is beautifully located with an amazing view overlooking the lake. The interior is a mix of old and new with a huge lobby with a charming bar and lounge. The room was nicely renovated and massively spacious - given that they gave me a free upgrade. Staff was friendly and very attentive. The only thing that really surprised me - and this...

We’re usually fans of this place, but seriously—they refused to serve us Eggs Benedict in the lobby? What is this, some kind of palace with strict dining room protocols? Last time I checked, hollandaise sauce wasn’t a controlled substance. The lobby is lovely, sure, but apparently it’s not worthy of poached eggs. Four stars for ambiance, minus two for the egg embargo.

Disappointing Experience at the Historic Lausanne Palace. We visited the legendary Lausanne Palace, known as one of the key locations where delegations from several nations stayed during the signing of the Treaty of Lausanne (July 1923). I came with my family to experience the atmosphere of this historic event — but sadly, it was disappointing. The staff appeared completely unaware of the hotel’...
