Amenities include flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and bathrooms stocked with premium toiletries such as Acqua di Parma or Aesop products, and custom nautical scenes on Portuguese hand-painted tiles.
4. Dining Experience
The hotel's restaurant, Via Mare, is a highlight, inspired by the Venetian tradition of small-plate dining. The menu, crafted by London-born chef Marcus Gleadow-Ware (an alum of a Michelin-starred kitchen in New York), emphasizes locally sourced seafood and features a Mediterranean-inspired selection. Guests praise the exceptional food and service, noting perfectly prepared dishes like scallops and grilled pork chops. Breakfast is served daily in the bar area. My husband and I go to Nantucket every year, and this was our first time at Greydon House; it was my favorite stay thus far on the island. Charming rooms, fantastic location and a chic restaurant on site. Tom, the manager (sorry if I messed the name up), could not have been nicer or more obliging, and was extremely knowledgeable about the island. Front desk team was very helpful as well. This wil...

Nice space but my room the first night was right above restaurant bar— loud and smelled like fried calamari. Stayed a second night and moved to third floor, lovely quiet room with no restaurant noise or smell. The staff was very kind, and the restaurant attached is charming… just try and avoid sleeping over it:)
