Expert Review: Gravity Haus Denver
Gravity Haus Denver: A Michelin Key Selected Boutique Experience in LoHi
Gravity Haus Denver, a Michelin Key Selected property, generally receives high praise for its blend of thoughtful design, prime location, and exceptional service, offering a distinctive boutique hotel experience in Denver's vibrant Lower Highlands (LoHi) neighborhood. The hotel garners an average rating of 8.2/10 based on 75 reviews on Trip.com, with a "Very Good" sentiment, and an 8.4/10 on Expedia, reflecting a strong positive consensus among guests.
Key Highlights
Guests consistently laud the hotel's wonderfully walkable and safe location, allowing easy exploration of the surrounding area with its abundance of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. The hotel's stunning and thoughtfully designed aesthetic, which blends pioneer spirit and industrial history with Victorian opulence through textured glass and floral mementos, is frequently highlighted. The top-notch service and memorable "little touches" provided by the staff are also major draws. Amenities such as a fitness center, bar, free in-room and public area WiFi, and co-working spaces contribute significantly to a comfortable and engaging stay.
Room Quality
The rooms at Gravity Haus Denver are described as quiet, beautifully decorated, and often larger than anticipated, featuring high ceilings and comfortable fixtures. Each of the 17 modern guest rooms is a subtle blend of Old West and Victorian sensibilities. Guests appreciate the luxurious touches, including Le Labo bath products, Revival New York linens, and Marshall sound systems. Accommodations offer rain showers, flat-screen TVs with premium channels, coffee makers, and refrigerators. The hotel offers various room configurations, from simple king rooms to innovative setups with bunk beds, suitable for different group sizes, as well as lavish suites.
Dining Experience
The on-site restaurant, Wildflower, is a significant highlight, renowned as a Michelin-recommended eatery. It offers thoughtful Italian cuisine, exquisite cocktails, and natural wines in a traditional yet modern ambiance, making it a romantic spot ideal for date nights or happy-hour sessions. While dinner and cocktails receive rave reviews, it's important to note that Gravity Haus Denver does not offer complimentary breakfast.
Service & Staff
The staff at Gravity Haus Denver consistently receives positive feedback for their helpfulness and hospitality. Guests have reported a very fast and efficient check-in process, and staff members are noted for going "above and beyond" to assist with issues, such as helping guests access their rooms after misreading checkout times. Personal touches like greeting cards left in rooms further elevate the guest experience. However, some guests have noted a "self-service" aspect to the hotel, with limited front desk hours and fewer on-site staff compared to traditional hotels.
Location & Accessibility
Situated in the Lower Highlands (LoHi) district, the hotel boasts an "amazing, safe, quiet location" that is wonderfully walkable. Guests can easily access numerous restaurants, bars, and coffee shops within the neighborhood. The hotel is conveniently located near major Denver attractions, including Union Station (1.6 mi), Coors Field (1.6 mi), and Ball Arena (2.2 mi). It is approximately 14 miles from Denver International Airport, and free parking is available nearby.
Value & Pricing
As of late January 2026, a 1-night stay for 2 adults can start from approximately $171.49, excluding taxes and fees. While the hotel is generally well-regarded, its "Value for money" score is rated at 7.7/10 by some guests. Some older online discussions regarding Gravity Haus memberships (which provide perks across various locations) suggest that member discounts on rooms might not always represent a significant saving compared to standard hotel rates, and raise concerns about membership responsiveness and the value of facilities at other Gravity Haus locations. These comments are not specifically directed at the Denver hotel's direct pricing or amenities for non-members.
Common Complaints
The most significant recurring complaint noted in reviews pertains to the hotel's cancellation policy. One guest reported a refusal to reimburse or offer assistance despite a flight cancellation due to a severe winter storm, highlighting a perceived lack of flexibility and empathy in unforeseen circumstances. The "self-service" nature of the hotel, with limited front desk hours and fewer staff members, has also been mentioned by some guests, implying a less traditional full-service hotel experience. While generally quiet, one review noted the Denver location could be "a little noisy at times." Older criticisms found for other Gravity Haus locations, such as issues with hot tubs and gym equipment, are not specific to the Denver property.

I have been a Gravity Haus member since its inception. Although the concept has gone through numerous iterations, it has always been a winner. The Denver Clubhouse is a great addition. The classes are amazing. I have never belonged to a gym where the ratio is at most, 12 to 1, so the outstanding instructors really get to know you and watch your form. The events are super thoughtful (sound b...

I’ve been a Gravity Haus member since 2021 and it’s been such a great experience. I originally joined for the group fitness classes, and they’ve been great. The instructors are supportive, fun, and always keep things fresh. I’m in the best fitness routine I’ve ever had. Beyond the workouts, the membership perks are amazing: discounted and complimentary hotel stays, access to fitness and co-workin...

No staff on-site to help direct us to the gym, which is in the basement and tough to find. Went in expecting a hot tub, sauna, and steam room as this is what I've seen at other Gravity Haus locations, so was disappointed that it was just the gym and co-working space. Although, the space they have is nice enough!

Excellent facility. Our coach, Trevor, was fantastic. Our two kids did the kid's group class which they enjoyed. Best youth sports training facility I've seen.

Do you enjoy HIIT classes, strength classes, and classes to get you ready for your weekend adventures? Then check out Dryland Fitness! Dryland has reinvigorated my love for the gym. They are the best work out classes I have ever been to and the coaches are even better! Keeping the classes smaller creates a sense of community among those teaching and partaking in the classes. I’ve been a Gravity Haus member since November 2023, but my experience has taken a frustrating turn. Over the last three months, I’ve repeatedly requested to cancel my membership—three times, to be exact. Despite my efforts, I was charged again this month, and my requests have been completely ignored. To make matters worse, they won’t return my phone calls or respond to my inquiries. This level o...
