  • Limited Activities (Occasional): A guest wished for more bike rentals or spa times, indicating that popular activities can be fully booked.
  • Breakfast Timing Communication: One guest noted that while dinner times were confirmed, breakfast time slots were only communicated upon check-in, which they felt could have been communicated earlier.
  • Food Quality (Rare): One review, in comparison to other Fufu properties, rated the food at this location as the "second worst," specifically mentioning a Western-style breakfast that was "awful" except for the bread. However, they also praised the kamameshi and the overall drink menu. This is a rare criticism amidst widespread acclaim for the dining.
  • Bedding and Amenities (Minor): One recent guest suggested that the selection of bedding and amenities "could be more refined".

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. We liked it so much and wanted to change the rest of all our trip accommodations all to Fufus. The hotel has such a good nature/wood/forest theme and it blends into all the details from lobby to rooms to food to the smell of every corner of the hotel. Every staff was super warm and nice. We loved the ever flowing onsen and our patio in the room. Amazing view ...

Stayed at FuFu Kawaguchiko for two nights, and it felt far too short. Time really flies when the stay is this enjoyable. We arrived after 4pm, just as the sun was setting behind Mt Fuji. Check-in was quick and efficient, but we unfortunately missed the sunset. To make up for it, we woke up early to catch the sunrise on both mornings. The sky was slightly bright just before 6am, although every app...

We were a little disappointed with Fufu mainly because of bad connectivity issues with WiFi and strictness in protocol. The meals provided were all multi-course and definitely suit people who enjoy slow gourmet meals. On one of the mornings we were there, the lady called us and asked us for our plans for the day in specific detail just so they could allocate a 90 min time slot to clean the room. F...
