I liked my one night here, but if I return to Amsterdam I'll try a different Marriott brand. Pros: very clean and quiet rooms (soundproofing is excellent, including from hallway noise); comfortable beds; room was ready in the morning after red eye; price was good; location convenient to metro/tram and airport. Cons: no gym; room layout, while exactly as described, does not afford much privacy or...

Absolutely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in as an avid traveler. The staff are on point...incredibly responsive, kind, professional and it's genuine. They are just good people. Rooms are impeccably clean, very comfortable, and high tech; very inviting lobby space, amazing food and coffee, particularly the breakfast that you can add to your stay and is well worth it. Special thanks ...

Great hotel for a solo traveller visiting for business. Check-in staff were really friendly and helpful. Having stayed in other CitizenM hotels, the rooms are consistent with the usual layout and style. The room was also quiet and I didn’t hear noise from any other rooms or outside. The only downsides were that the in-room safe wasn’t working and the iron in the Iron Room didn’t function properly....

I had a great experience there. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Rooms are cute especially considering the price which is low if you compare to Centrum where for almost double you only have a bed in a weird hostel. Transports are very close, you can be in the city center in 15/20mn and Ziggo Dome in 25mn. Area is safe. No room service but 24/7 food downstairs that you can take to your roo...

Extremely modern hotel. I have never seen anything like it. For a 50 year old man, you are really out of your comfort zone. It looks like something out of a scifi movie made in the 1960s. Why is the toilet in the middle of my room!? The checkin is selfserv, guided by staff. It is slow and doesn't add value to the customer experience. In the rooms, everything is controlled by an iPad. It is slow to...

From the moment we walked through the door, we genuinely felt welcomed and valued — the team at CitizenM were warm, upbeat, and proactively helpful in a way that instantly put us at ease. Yes, it’s a compact hotel, but honestly, every amenity you could want for a comfortable stay is there… plus a few clever touches you’d normally expect from somewhere much pricier. The room was cosy and brilliant...
