Key Highlights

Guests consistently laud several aspects of Beaverbrook Town House:

  • Design & Decor: The hotel's interiors, crafted by Nicola Harding, are a significant draw, described as "charming," "beautiful," and "maximalist without being distasteful". The quintessentially British aesthetic, with touches of Japanese art, rich colors, and mis-matched fabrics, creates a captivating and tasteful atmosphere. Each of the 14 rooms and suites is individually styled and named after iconic London theatres, adorned with relevant posters and black-and-white photos.
  • Service & Hospitality: The staff consistently receives high praise for being "exceptional," "welcoming," "attentive," and going "above and beyond" to make stays memorable. Guests highlight the personalized and bijou feel, where nothing seems too much trouble.
  • Location: Situated on Sloane Street, opposite Cadogan Place Park (with guest access), the location near Sloane Square is considered a major advantage. It offers easy access to high-end shopping, museums, and transport links.
  • Amenities: Complimentary minibars stocked with British-sourced treats, Nespresso machines, and high-speed Wi-Fi (250+ Mbps) are frequently appreciated. The hotel also offers in-room spa services and has a bar/lounge and a garden/terrace.

Room Quality

The 14 rooms and suites are described as luxurious, comfortable, and well-equipped, each with its unique theatrical theme. They feature plush king-size beds, often with four-poster or half-tester canopy drapes, Egyptian cotton sheets, and premium bedding with a pillow menu. Bathrooms are stylishly tiled, offering both deep soaking bathtubs and walk-in showers, complete with bathrobes, slippers, complimentary Bamford toiletries, and underfloor heating. Thoughtful details include discreetly hidden plasma televisions in bed-end storage or ottomans, separate sitting areas, desks, safes, and complimentary bottled water and coffee/tea makers. Hypo-allergenic bedding and in-room massages can also be requested.

Dining Experience

The hotel features The Fuji Grill, a contemporary Japanese restaurant, and Sir Frank's Bar.

  • The Fuji Grill: Offers an extensive menu of Japanese cuisine, including high-quality sushi, sashimi, robata grills, and small plates. Highlights include toro with yuzu miso and truffles, chargrilled wagyu, and Scottish langoustines. An opulent 20-course Omakase Dining Experience is also available.
  • Sir Frank's Bar: A buzzing and fun place, popular with both guests and locals, serving craft cocktails, including West End classics themed around London theatres and the hotel's signature Spitfire Collins.

Just spent three nights at Beaverbrook Town House and have to say it was incredible. Room was spacious, well designed, and comfortable. Loved the anteroom with closet and minibar. The reception staff (Emily!!) were just incredible. Funny, friendly, helpful. I asked if they had blue cheese stuffed olives at the bar and while they didn't, some were procured! And had multiple meals at the Fuji Grill...

Went for dinner at the Japanese grill. The pre-dinner drinks at the cosy bar was well worth the evening pause. The bar and lobby area is tastefully appointed and a welcome reprieve from the incessant traffic off Sloane street. The wagyu was definitely the highlight of the Japanese menu and certainly reflected in the price. The spinach salad and the tempura prawns was a good starter combination. A ...

Sir Frank's Bar at Beaverbook Town House is a hidden gem moments from Sloane Square. The Japanese-inspired Art Deco decor creates a beautiful and sophisticated atmosphere. The staff are professional and attentive. The bar makes excellent cocktails and has an interesting Japanese bar food menu. It's a perfect spot for a pre- or post-dinner drink.

DO NOT STAY HERE - HORRENDOUS THEFT My suitcase which contained a priceless family heirloom was stolen from the Hotel while staff left it stored unsafely and in full access to the general public. I was forced to cancel my flight home to Australia and remain in London while I was left to unsuccessfully try and chase my suitcase across London in horrific circumstances. Weeks later I am still chasin...

Really nice and quiet local Japanese restaurant- attentive service, great simple food. I go a lot as perfect for a nice quick but smart meal day or evening. Nice atmosphere and presentation and food is really surprisingly good as someone who is very picky about proper Japanese food.

I don’t stay at the hotel, but I really enjoy having meetings in the bar and tea area. Full of details. Pretty quiet and private vibe. There’s also a Japanese restaurant right next to the bar—and I almost forgot, there’s a dessert section near the front entrance too! Big thanks to my friend for introducing me to this place. Service rating was for the bar / tea service. Highly recommended for bo...
