The attentive and friendly service is a recurring highlight, as is the excellent food and drink offering. Its convenient location, particularly its proximity to Victoria Station, is also a major draw.

3. Room Quality

Artist Residence London offers individually designed rooms, each boasting its own unique character. The rooms feature a blend of vintage furnishings, rustic wooden floors, exposed brickwork, and quirky artwork. Guests frequently commend the comfortable beds with high-quality linen, including Egyptian cotton sheets and pillowtop mattresses, ensuring an excellent night's sleep.

Standard in-room amenities across various room types include complimentary high-speed WiFi, flat-screen TVs, Roberts radios, mini-fridges stocked with local treats, Nespresso coffee machines, and kettles with a selection of teas and biscuits. 4. Dining Experience

The hotel's dining facilities, primarily the Cambridge Street Kitchen and the Clarendon Cocktail Cellar, are highly regarded.

  • Cambridge Street Kitchen: This all-day café, restaurant, and bar offers a fresh seasonal menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a "buzzing neighborhood café" feel. Breakfast is particularly praised for its fresh ingredients and delicious options, ranging from croissants to eggs Benedict. Dinner is described as delicious, with generous portions and excellent service.

The rooms are gorgeous. Extremely comfortable bed, great shower and products. Towel heater in the bathroom is fab! Rooms so well stocked with umbrella and adaptor. Unfortunately though we were really disappointed with the staff. There is never anyone at the reception and usually a long wait despite pressing the bell. The man who originally met us was very unfriendly. He very bluntly told us check...

Service was good. Room was okay, although the chair in the room was stained, old and in need of refurbishment. Plenty of towels. Never went to the restaurant. Would recommend for a quick stay in London.

Response from the owner

Thank you for your review! We’re glad you enjoyed the service and found us a good spot for a quick London stay. We hope to welcome you back again soon — perhaps next time to try the restaurant too!

Calmer Clinics would like to thank you for providing us with such a fantastic Christmas party last night! Adam looked after all our guests beautifully and was the best bartender making us incredible cocktails all night! We had a wonderful spread of food and the space was decorated perfectly for Christmas and was cosy and classy. Thank you so much!!!

Response from the owner

We ate at the restaurant today. The food is nice but the attitude of the staff stinks. Unexpectedly we were 9 instead of 8 and needed an extra chair for our group. So I asked one of the wait staff. She offered it from the empty table next to us. A few minutes later, the manager arrived and shouted at us for ‘stealing a chair’. When I explained calmly and politely that his colleague had given it,...

Absolutely terrible customer service experience at this hotel. I can't comment on the experience of staying there only the booking experience. We booked one night accommodation via Expedia, as a last minute trip. We wanted to bring our small dog so we made sure to filter for dog friendly hotels and this was the first hotel to show in the listings. I read the listing thoroughly to make sure the ho...
