Overall Rating & Sentiment
Zions Tiny Oasis garners an overwhelmingly positive sentiment, frequently described by guests as "magical," "romantic," and a "peaceful retreat" with "breathtaking views." It holds an "Exceptional" rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars based on Google reviews, reflecting a very high level of guest satisfaction. The property's selection as a Michelin Key hotel further solidifies its standing as a high-quality stay.
Key Highlights
Guests consistently rave about several standout features that make Zions Tiny Oasis a memorable stay. The private hot tubs under the stars are a particular favorite, offering a romantic and relaxing experience after a day of hiking. The comfortable and meticulously designed interiors, coupled with spectacular views of the surrounding mesas and green river valleys, are frequently highlighted. The attentive and helpful nature of the hosts, Lily and Sam, also receives significant praise. Additional outdoor amenities like private fire pits and BBQ grills contribute to the "luxury glamping" experience.
Room Quality
The accommodations at Zions Tiny Oasis are individual, freestanding "tiny houses," each built on its own platform. These units range in size from the 289-square-foot Guardian Angel to the 488-square-foot King Solomon, providing ample comfort within their compact design. Rooms are described as brilliantly decorated and feature plush beds, ensuring a cozy and comfortable stay. Each tiny house comes equipped with all the comforts of an ordinary hotel room, alongside a fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom, and often a washer/dryer. Large windows offer expansive views of the natural landscape, and units are fully enclosed and insulated, providing comfort in both summer heat and winter chill, complete with electricity, water, sewer, and Wi-Fi. Available configurations include Family suites (1 King Bed, 301 sq ft), Family Rooms with Mountain View (1 Queen Bed, 236 sq ft), Superior Family Rooms (1 King Bed & 1 Queen Bed, 355 sq ft), and Deluxe Family Suites (1 Queen Bed & 2 Double Beds, 484 sq ft), accommodating various group sizes.
Dining Experience
Zions Tiny Oasis does not feature an on-site restaurant or provide a prepared breakfast. However, each tiny house is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, allowing guests the convenience of preparing their own meals. For those looking to dine out, nearby towns like Springdale offer a variety of food and drink options. The Red River Roasting Company, a short distance away, is mentioned as a place for coffee, sweets, and sandwiches. Inside Zion National Park, Zion Lodge is the only location that offers food service.
Service & Staff
The hospitality at Zions Tiny Oasis consistently receives high marks. Guests frequently commend the owners, Lily and Sam, for being "super helpful," "kind and helpful," and "friendly." Their attentiveness and dedication to ensuring a positive guest experience are recurring themes in reviews.
Location & Accessibility
Zions Tiny Oasis is strategically located "just outside of the park proper" on the west side of Zion National Park, offering stunning, secluded views of the classic mesas and green river valleys of Southern Utah. It provides a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds, yet remains highly accessible, being approximately a 20-minute drive to the entrance of Zion National Park. While the secluded setting is a major draw for many, some might find the distance from immediate urban amenities a minor consideration. Free parking and off-street parking are available on site.
Value & Pricing
Guests generally consider Zions Tiny Oasis to offer good "value for money," with one review giving it a 9.2 out of 10 for this aspect. While specific pricing varies by unit and season, one example indicates rates starting from around $347 per night for a "Mother Eve Tiny House." Given its unique luxury glamping experience, comprehensive amenities, and prime location near a national park, the pricing reflects a premium, highly-rated stay.
Common Complaints
While overall feedback is overwhelmingly positive, a few minor issues have been occasionally noted. These include instances of "low gas tanks for BBQs" and "bug screens not fitting well" in some tiny houses. Additionally, the property's popularity can lead to difficulty in securing reservations during peak travel seasons. The secluded location, while a highlight for many, could be seen as a minor inconvenience for guests desiring immediate access to a wide array of urban amenities.

Highly recommend staying here. Our house was absolutely beautiful and so clean! The decor and character was absolutely beautiful! The views are breathtaking! Far away enough from road and other houses! 20 minute drive to Mount Zion park. Hot tub was a bonus after hiking! Lilly and Sam were available for any questions and so friendly! We will be back for sure!

We had a girls weekend to celebrate a birthday, and this was the perfect location for a little getaway. We stayed in the Court of Melchizedek one and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The beds in the King and Queen rooms were so comfortable. All accommodations we needed and then some were taken care of. The decor is beyond compare. There was a fire pit, a hot tub, and a deck above. The vie...

We just had the most magical and romantic weekend staying in the Ark Tiny house. The off season is definitely a great time to visit. Although the outside temperature at night got down to the low 30's the Ark was comfortable and warm. We loved gazing at the stars while relaxing in the private hot tub. The home was so cozy with pillows and blankets and had everything you need for cooking meals. The...

We had the best time at Zion tiny oasis! We stayed in king Salomon, it was truly magical, the attention to detail in the decor and style was amazing. The location had breathtaking views and lots of privacy. We really enjoyed the quality time we had with our family, and created memories we will cherish forever.
Peteys Travels
Zions Tiny Oasis is very well located to access the South Entrance of Zion National Park (15-minute drive). The views when staying at the tiny house were incredible, and the layout of the tiny houses on the land was good, so much so that you aren't disturbed by the other guests going about their business. Whilst the view, location, and layout of the land were great, the tiny house I stayed in had ...
