It has a private pool, so you can enjoy a resort-like atmosphere, and the views and furnishings were simply amazing. It's only a little over an hour by Shinkansen from the city center, so I felt like I didn't need to go all the way to Okinawa or anywhere else.

The location was excellent with unobstructed views, and from every room and balcony, we could see Atami Castle to the left, Hatsushima Island in front, and Sparrow Rock at our feet. Just after 5am, the sun rose directly east over Mt. Daisen, located at the tip of the Boso Peninsula.
