  • Design & Architecture: The hotel's Lanna-style architecture, inspired by 15th-century Lanna and Chinese design, is a major draw, often described as "beautifully designed and maintained" and "one of the most tasteful properties". The intricate details, art-strewn walls, and owner's collection of antiques create a unique and sophisticated ambiance.

  • Amenities: The large, peaceful swimming pool, the well-stocked library (featuring hundreds of books from the owner's personal collection and often offering cognac), and the massage spa are frequently mentioned and highly appreciated. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Our stay at Rachamankha Hotel was exceptional. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, even assisting us with a last-minute, late-night Michelin-star restaurant reservation. The room was beautiful, with serene architecture and an open-space design that felt calming and transcendent. The grounds and pool were impeccably maintained, and the location in the heart of Old Town made everything easi...

Beautiful Hotel with a lovely courtyard dining room for dinner and breakfast. The service is excellent and very attentive. The reception staff could not be more helpful. The dinner was very good and provided at a very good price. It should be noted that all the rooms come off very pretty garden courtyards so the the views from the rooms are not particularly good. Didn't matter at all to us. Lovely...

The reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable on day visits and helped us to organize multiple trips to surrounding areas. The breakfast was deli...

We stayed at Rachamankha for 3 nights and from the moment we stepped foot in this architectural paradise the experience was out of the world. The staff were somehow always three steps ahead, ready to take our bags, bring us waters, take our laundry, bring us food. The breakfast was sensational, with the included à la carte items all top notch. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot say enough goo...

We have always loved Rachamankha, and still do. It’s a beautiful heritage hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai and it is a small hotel, which we love. The staff are fantastic and service is great. However, parts of the hotel and rooms feel a bit tired and in need of some attention and the pool area doesn’t seem to be as beautiful as it has been in the past. But we love this hotel!
