We had a room on a corner in front - 2nd floor, I think. The view of the park and beyond to the castle was beautiful and despite being on a busy street, we heard no street noise due to the special precautions they take with the windows. The room was absolutely stunning, clean and very comfortable. Could've used a larger wardrobe but probably an impossible addition due to the huge windows and histo...

Awesome hotel located between Chiado and Principe Real. It houses the Port Wine Center for Lisbon, which is a must for anyone who wants to learn more about Port. I found Jaimes to be incredibly helpful and informative. The front desk staff and doorman were quite young and slightly inexperienced but still helpful. The dining area/ bar were nice but not as well decorated as the rest of the hotel. Fo...

The room was stunning with lovely attention to detail and nods to the old world while still ke...

Perfect hotel! Everything about our 4 night stay was wonderful; from the attentive staff to the delicious treats left in our room each night and the beautiful breakfast buffet each morning. The wine tasting experience was also lovely. The hotel is centrally located with many dining options in a few blocks’ radius. If I come back to Lisbon, I will be coming back to Palacio Ludovice.

We stayed there for the second time earlier this month, and the experience was as great as the first time. Good breakfast, very spacious room. My wife loved the spa. The building has been restored beautifully, and we were once again very impressed by it. Location is great, with easy access to Príncipe Real, Chiado, and other areas of the city.

Terrible customer service. Buyer beware. United cancelled our flight the morning of our trip with no other options to get to Lisbon. Even with talking to the manger and offering to show documentation and proof of United cancelling the flight they told Amex that it would not matter and would not refund the several thousand dollars or offer a credit for future stay. This is supposed to be a high en...
