The rooms at MOXY Minneapolis Uptown are described as well-equipped, clean, and featuring "chic décor, scenic views and flat-panel HDTVs". They are designed with a hip and modern aesthetic, incorporating "playful design, smart tech & everything you need for a fun, connected stay". Some rooms even feature Fender guitars for guest use. However, some guests note the rooms can be "extremely small". Comfort is generally good, with pillows and beds often described as "exceptionally comfortable". Issues like "weird windows in the bathroom that make the whole room light up when turning on the bathroom lights," leading to "little privacy," have been mentioned.

4. Dining Experience

While MOXY Minneapolis Uptown features a stylish bar/lounge that serves craft cocktails and local brews, it does not offer a full-service restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Continental breakfasts are available upon request for a fee. Guests can find a snack bar/deli on-site. I would strongly advise against staying here. Our five-day stay was a complete disaster from both a service and financial standpoint. The Room: The space is incredibly cramped. It is far too small for two people with luggage to move around comfortably. Zero Housekeeping: Despite staying for five days and calling the front desk multiple times to request service, our room was never cleaned. Housek...

Style with no substance. Moxy might be "cool" but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. First the rooms are very small, with hardly anywhere to put a suitcase or two down. Difficult for two adults to get ready for a formal function. Open style shower so it's cold unless you crank the heat way up in the room. No coffee maker, no refrigerator, no iron (not that there would be a place to iron). ...

I mean… you get what you pay for. Internet / TV is painfully slow. The beds are hard as a rock. There’s no furniture to speak of, no mini fridge. It’s clean and the bathroom is nice but save the “we’re a fun hotel” speech. I don’t care about a communal fridge or a crappy drink token. I want internet and a comfortable room. Save your hammock and get real. Skip this unless you’re a teenager.

Such a cute place! The room had a cool vibe. We loved the music theme. I even tried to see if I remembered any songs on the guitar (I did not). The room itself was cozy but the cute pegs on the wall were not only stylish but were quite nice to save space. Loved the rainfall shower head. Honestly I think what I loved most about this place was the unexpected but amazing vibe downstairs in the lobby...

I have been coming to the Moxy Uptown for 9 months. I come weekly for business. I always arrive to a welcoming atmosphere, Maggie (Bar manager) and Thomas (Hotel Manager) are the key people to talk to. They ensure I quickly get to my room, they hold materials for me in advance of my arrival, safeguarding tens of thousands of dollars of electronics and base materials. They plug me into the local co...
