Moxy Manchester City, a Michelin Key Selected property, consistently earns high praise from guests for its vibrant atmosphere, excellent service, and prime city-center location. It's recognized as a "1 Key" hotel by the Michelin Guide, signifying "a special place to stay."

3. Room Quality
The rooms at Moxy Manchester City are described as modern, clean, and well-designed with a "Scandi style" and an uncluttered appearance. Many rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing for natural light and city views. Guests often commend the comfortable beds, including super king-size options, and good en-suite bathrooms with walk-in power showers and MUK Australian brand toiletries. Standard amenities include free Wi-Fi, a kettle with tea/coffee supplies, a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV (Netflix-enabled), and ample power/USB sockets. Instead of traditional wardrobes, rooms feature a trendy metal grid with hangers. While generally well-regarded, some reviewers noted that rooms can feel "small" or "a little bit tight" around the bed or TV area. Additionally, there are no mini-fridges in the rooms, but ice buckets can be provided upon request. Irons and ironing boards are available in dedicated ironing rooms on each floor rather than in individual guest rooms.
4. Dining Experience
Bar Moxy serves as the hotel's central hub, offering a coffee-shop-by-day and cocktail-bar-by-night vibe. A hearty breakfast buffet, featuring both hot and continental options, is available daily, though it is not complimentary. Some guests have noted that the baked goods at breakfast might not always be fresh. Throughout the day, Bar Moxy provides an all-day menu of bar snacks, including stone-baked pizzas, crispy wings, loaded tots, and waffles. A 24/7 grab-and-go station is also on hand for quick snacks and drinks. While suitable for casual dining, Moxy hotels are generally not lauded for extensive culinary excellence, with evening food offerings tending to be more basic, such as easily re-heatable items.

Other popular spots like Deansgate, Manchester Arndale, Canal Street, and Piccadilly Gardens are also conveniently close. For transport, St Peters Square Station is a 6-minute walk and Deansgate-Castlefield Station is 9 minutes away, making public transportation highly accessible. Manchester Piccadilly train station is also a short walk away. Discounted parking is available nearby at NCP Spinningfields for those arriving by car.

Guests feel they receive great amenities and stylish accommodation for their money.

- Welcome Drink Options: A minor suggestion from some guests is to offer more natural options, such as mineral water or natural juices, as alternatives to the typically sugary welcome cocktail.

We stayed at the Moxy Marriott Hotel in central Manchester near Deansgate for the weekend and had a very good experience overall. The hotel has a modern, hip and vibrant feel. It is clearly aimed at a younger crowd, with social spaces featuring games like Jenga, Connect Four and other table games. While we are a little older than the target audience, we still really liked the atmosphere. It felt ...

As a Marriott employee, my expectations of this MOxy were absolutely exceeded. From its location conveniently located where we needed to be for a gig, to the lovely breakfast and excellent staff. Sam the Crew Leader really personable and friendly, and the bar staff and morning crew we all encountered were all polite and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again!

A central location in the middle of Manchester, yet quiet rooms and a really funky environment. From check-in with the police, professional staff. It's a fun and funky hotel with good sized, clean rooms. A great bar and a selection of food (or lots of restaurants doing delivery) make this a great choice!

Hotel is stunning. Room was very clean and staff were welcoming. Big downfall was a bar or nightclub next door was blasting music until 3/4am and this kept us up with the noise and the screaming. If you stay here bring earplugs or book somewhere else!

Great hotel in excellent area. The room is very comfortable but bathroom is smaller than the two hotels I stayed that week (The Reach and Motel One). The service was excellent and the staff even let me check-in early (Special thanks to Daisy)
