Superb service, among the best I've ever had at a hotel. Generous check-in and check-out policies with respect to luggage and even offering to carry it up the stairs for you. Management was very understanding of some requests we made. The room was the most spacious we've had in Japan so far: my child had a wonderful time in the bunk space above our beds. As for the location? There are literally Na...

Very classy and elegant hotel, while keeping a simple and traditional Japanese style. The Mountain View Room offered a great view onto Nara Park and was also extraordinarily spacious, compared to other hotels in Japan. The location is very good, being in walking distance to the train station, as well as Nara Park and several temples and shrines.

Beds comfortable, bathrooms nicely designed, amenities lacking, misrepresents how close to the park it is, it’s got about 3m attached to an annexed area where the deer rarely go, and the entrance is a 15 minute walk. Staff is politely rude if you can find anyone at all, (as there is no reception area, just a kiosk) especially to foreign travelers which was very unpleasant and spoiled our visit. If...

Great location, nice service. Unfortunately the room looks good, but the amount of dust and the moldy smell, because of the mold in the bathroom is beyond. We had to sleep with open window for 2 days. On the sitting pillow were yellow stains all over. Do not recommend if you like clean spaces and have allergies

The rooms are amazing and cozy. The bathrooms are quite large. For the prize you pay it's a fantastic deal. Not to mention it is a very small distance away from Nara Park and the rest of the town, and only 15 mins away from the Station.

Location is great, but smoking area is right outside the entrance. You need to walk through everyone’s smoke to leave. The lady at reception was very rude. I wanted to extend my checkout by an hour and when I told her the price was high she just laughed in my face. I told her I didn’t think the situation was funny, and she just kept laughing. Very strange behaviour from a hospitality service
