8. Common Complaints
The most significant and recurring complaint mentioned by guests is loud construction noise from a neighboring property. While the hotel acknowledges this external issue and is in communication with the neighbors to minimize impact, some guests found the noise disruptive throughout the day. Other minor criticisms include:
- Occasional reports of slow breakfast service or inconsistent expectations when ordering the same dishes.
- A lack of a small fridge and a desk/table in some rooms, which some guests found inconvenient, particularly for longer stays or for work.
- One isolated comment noted a perception of "customer service" being far from the staff's mentality, citing several mistakes and a lack of care, though this contradicts the vast majority of positive service feedback.
- Some guests experienced cleaning staff reorganizing personal belongings.
- An airport shuttle service fee of COP 60,000 each way (approx. $15 USD), or COP 160,000 for a roundtrip, maximum occupancy 2.

Great small boutique hotel (only 7 rooms) on a quiet block in Cartagena. Feels more like a renting a private home. Fresh cooked to order breakfast was included. Staff was very friendly. Very safe and very quiet. Rooms on the smaller side though.

A wonderful haven in the historic district of Cartagena. Behind a discreet door you will find a great boutique hotel. No fuss. Simple and highly comfortable. Service is at the top. Breakfasts are good and generous. I stayed in the Maia room which has a balcony opening on a quiet street. Go!

This is a quiet end of town but close to enough bars and restaurants. Breakfast is delicious and cooked to order and the team ...
