Common Complaints

While guest feedback is overwhelmingly positive, a few minor points have been raised:

  • Rooftop Bar Closing Time: One guest expressed mild surprise that the rooftop bar closes at 10:30 PM, though acknowledged it was "nitpicking."
  • Minor Room Maintenance: One review from January 2026 mentioned that some room linens were a bit old, and the room was "averagly cleaned." Another mentioned minor issues like peeling paint, a falling wood door on a fridge, and missing bathroom shelves, suggesting a need for the owner to inspect and fix these details to maintain its 4-star standard.
  • Hot Breakfast Variety: While generally praised, some guests felt the hot breakfast items could be better prepared and suggested more healthy options like berries and freshly squeezed juices.
  • No Dedicated Restaurant: The lack of a full-service restaurant or a proper public bar might be a minor point for those seeking extensive in-house dining options beyond breakfast and rooftop cocktails.

This is a relatively small but utterly charming hotel, with exquisite rooms and a setting that puts you right where history meets action. Breakfast on the rooftop and coffee on our private balcony made the stay feel especially special. One small step toward perfection would be a light refurbishment of the bathrooms. That said, the shower was excellent—powerful water pressure, which is far from a ...

This is a beautifully located hotel close to the Spanish Steps in Rome. Accommodation in the annex accross the street was great. Breafasts were very good and rooms were large and comfortable. Room service was not good at all

Beautiful, clean, modern rooms. Great adjoining rooms for families. Prices high, but the location was fantastic, steps from the Spanish steps, high end shopping, and amazing restaurants. Safe, comfortable. The buffet breakfast was so well done!! They think of everything and Valereo takes so much pride in caring for the breakfast guests. The front desk offered limited support, not a full concierge...

Loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. Comfy beds, super clean, great location, and wonderful service, especially from Valerio, our exceptional server at breakfast, who made every morning special and gave us some great tips on where to eat in Rome. He was the best! Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hotel located off of Via Del Corso for ease of access into the heart of Rome. I enjoyed the large and spacious rooms, comfortable bed, and yummy mini bar. The staff at the front desk were so nice and helpful, and I enjoyed chatting with them each day. I didn't really wake up early enough to enjoy the breakfast so I can't comment on that! Otherwise, awesome stay, would return.

It's a 3 star hotel without much service. It's unclear as to all the great ratings. Location is good.
