It offers a unique and memorable stay for both leisure and business travelers seeking a distinctive hotel experience near Frankfurt's central station.
1. Overall Rating & Sentiment
The general consensus for 25hours Hotel The Trip is overwhelmingly positive, with an average rating of 8.1 out of 10 based on numerous reviews. Guests frequently describe their stays as "fabulous," "amazing," and "super cool," highlighting the hotel's trendy ambiance and comfort. The hotel is often considered a "very good value for money" and a reliable choice for those familiar with the 25hours brand.
2. Key Highlights
Guests consistently love several aspects of 25hours Hotel The Trip:
- Design & Ambiance: The hotel's unique "around the world in a day" concept, with each floor boasting a different theme (Tropics, Mountains, Arctic), is a major draw. The colorful, quirky, and artistic decor, from the Levi's-themed reception to the individually designed stairwells, creates a hip and engaging atmosphere.
- Amenities: The complimentary mini-bar in the rooms is a frequently appreciated perk. Other highlights include a trendy on-site restaurant and bar (Bar Shuka), a rooftop sauna, a music room, and the availability of free Schindelhauer bikes for rent. Some "Extra Large" rooms even include a bike.
- Service & Staff: The staff is consistently described as "brilliant," "very nice," "helpful," "friendly," and "informative". The check-in and check-out processes are often noted as quick and easy.
- Location (Proximity to Transport): Its proximity to Frankfurt's central train station (Hauptbahnhof) is highly valued, making it convenient for public transport and connections throughout the city and beyond.
3. Room Quality
The 76 rooms at 25hours Hotel The Trip are celebrated for their comfort, modern design, and colorful, quirky decor.
- Comfort: Guests frequently mention comfortable beds, often king-size, providing a good night's sleep.
- Design & Amenities: Rooms offer trendy decor and are well-appointed with facilities like flat-screen TVs, a small desk, a wardrobe, and the popular free mini-bar. Shower rooms and toilets are often separated and feature modern designs, with the waterfall shower being a particular favorite for some. Bathrooms are clean and stocked with large bottles of shower gel, shampoo, and body lotion, often featuring an eco-conscious message about water conservation. "Extra Large" rooms may also include tea and coffee making facilities.
- Spaciousness: While medium rooms are described as perfect for two, larger rooms and suites like the "Machu Picchu" with a kitchenette are available and ideal for families or those desiring more space.
4. Dining Experience
The hotel's dining options are well-regarded:
- Bar Shuka (Restaurant & Bar): The on-site restaurant, Bar Shuka, offers a Middle Eastern delight and is described as trendy and often busy in the evenings, with great food, good quality, and reasonable prices.
- Breakfast: The breakfast experience is a combination of a buffet and an à la carte menu. Barista-prepared coffee is highlighted as excellent.

- Language: The staff is courteous and willing to help, and their ability to speak English makes communication effortless for international guests.
6. Location & Accessibility
The hotel's location offers both advantages and a common caveat:
- Proximity to Central Station: 25hours Hotel The Trip is located just a few minutes' walk from Frankfurt's central station (Hauptbahnhof), providing excellent access to S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines for fast connections throughout the city and to the Messe Exhibition Hall. This makes it highly convenient for arrivals by public transport and for exploring the city or nearby areas.
- Neighborhood Concerns: While centrally located, the immediate area around the central station, particularly at night, can be perceived as "seedy" or "notorious for having druggies and homeless people" by some guests. However, many guests report feeling safe and emphasize the area is well-policed, recommending being careful and returning at a decent hour. The hotel itself is 0.7 miles from the center of Frankfurt.
7. Value & Pricing
25hours Hotel The Trip is generally considered to offer good value for money.
- Affordable Luxury: With an average room price of around $119, it is positioned as an affordable luxury option, especially when compared to Frankfurt's average room price of $126.
- Inclusive Amenities: The inclusion of a free mini-bar and excellent facilities contribute to its perceived value.
8. Common Complaints
While feedback is largely positive, a few recurring issues have been noted:
- Parking: The hotel has limited private parking spaces (less than 10 for 76 rooms), making it difficult to find a spot, especially if arriving later in the evening. Guests may need to find and pay for off-site parking within a 10-minute walk.
- Noise: On occasion, guests have reported loud music or noise from events taking place on the ground floor or basement, which could be disruptive even on higher floors.
- Minor Room Issues: Isolated incidents like a missing TV remote have been reported, though these seem to be less common and can be addressed by staff.
- Breakfast Buffet Scope: While generally good, some feedback suggests the buffet spread, when considered alone, might not be "all too extensive" compared to the combined buffet and à la carte offering.

I’ve stayed in several Accor hotels in Frankfurt before when here for business and was a little anxious when arriving for the first time to 25 hours Hotel and my Uber driver said it’s not a good area and I should change hotel. However, I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable when I entered the hotel foyer and was attended to by Natalie. She was super friendly and attentive and I’m already fee...

Very close to frankfurt main train station the hotel is in quite a vibrant area with many bars and restaurants eay to find. From the outside you might be forgiven for thinking what have I let myself in for as it looks like an old warehouse but once inside its I will use the word eclectic although that probably doesn't fo it justice the reception area and lounge intermingled seamlessly the staff wer...

The 25hours Hotel Frankfurt clearly wants to be hip, young, and lifestyle-driven — and on the surface, it succeeds. The design is bold, playful, and very much Instagram-ready. However, the reality doesn’t quite live up to the concept. On weekends, the music from the bar in the inner courtyard is far too loud, to the point where resting or sleeping becomes difficult. When I mentioned this at rece...

Loved my stay where I've discovered 25h brand. Really cool concept, and I will surely try the other ones in the network. As for this particular hotel - staff was nice, the bar was great on Friday and Saturday evening, the rooms are cool, my favorite was the rooftop sauna. Wish it opened in the morning rather than only in the afternoon, at least on weekends. Special mention to the little gifts i f...

Everything has been amazing! Especially the receptionist Natalie, she was super nice, helpful, and very clear since I arrived! And not to say she saved me by giving me a toothbrush because I forgot it and was panicking! Also loved the Sauna, teas and everything on the 6th floor! Very beautiful hotel, also very central!

The room was good and the bed was comfy, you can screen share to the TV and the minibar has water and cider for free. It was impossible to get a good night's sleep on Friday or Saturday as loud music was being played all night. There was no warning online or from the staff that this would be the case. More soundproofing on the windows wouldn't work because the bed shakes even on the top floor.
