I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, even though it was just for one night, and I promised myself I would return on my next visit to Almaty. It is a place of real quality: the room was warmly and tastefully decorated, and the restaurant is among the best in town, with an excellent selection of wines. The location is also excellent. What really makes this hotel special, however, is the staff. Eve...

I stayed here for four nights on a business trip. The location and the rooms were great. The staff were not particularly friendly, but they were okay. My main issue was with the breakfast. There were only three fixed options, mostly based on eggs with a few small snacks. I would have preferred more variety — especially for a longer stay, as the breakfast choices get repetitive.

The inspiration here is nomadic heritage and life in the vast steppes while catering to urban dwellers, an original offering, in the heart of town, a minute’s walk from the festivities around Christmas and New Year. I definitely recommend booking a junior suite or suite for a more peaceful stay in a much larger room than the standard and superior kings. The restaurant is fun - great shaman-inspire...

The best hotel in Almaty. Friendly, professional staff, authentic vibe, clean rooms and halls. Delicious food at hotel restaurants, live music in the evening. Great location, close to ice skating rink in the winter, cable cars to Kok Tobe. I definitely recommend this hotel.
