We had a really lovely stay at the Villa d'Amelia. The shared bar / lounge, dining room and courtyard are very pleasing; staff are helpful, friendly and overall impeccable. My room was great and appropriately appointed; I had a lovely view over vineyards and hazelnut trees. The snow capped Alps were clearly visible in the distance over valley views. The swimming pool was heated to 27'C (it was...

in general nice - the first room we got had an old bed - significant deepening in the middle of the beds, but we could change after the first night. Some public rooms e.g toiletts and coridors are massively overheated, and in both rooms we could only turn on the shower with also letting the water out on the second tap - for me a sign of missing environmental awareness. The pool area is nice.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. Had to cancel our reservation due to a family emergency. Something happened with the cancellation and it wasn't processed properly. We called immediately upon discovering that it hadn't gone thru and they refused to refund us because the cancellation deadline had passed by a day or two. We even paid extra for a refundable rate to ensure that we could cancel.

Despite the many positive reviews, I found Relais Villa d’Amelia to be quite outdated, and the service didn’t meet the standard expected from a luxury property. The check-in was smooth and pleasant, and the hotel entrance, beautifully set among vineyards, looked very promising. The wellness area appeared inviting, but in reality, the hotel needs a proper uplift. The mattress was extremely firm, ...

Had THE most amazing time with my wife in November. Staff is amazing. Food is out of this world. Rooms are romantic and cozy. The surroundings are idyllic. I highly recommend the truffle hunt organized by the hotel. Such a great authentic experience. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Relais Villa d'Amelia for my birthday! Since we're both obsessed with wine and truffles, Piemonte was the perfect place to celebrate. The hotel staff were super welcoming, and they even left a bottle of bubbly in our room as a birthday surprise. The hotel itself has a really cozy vibe. There's a piano and a fireplace in the living room, which is perfect for a c...
