Its boutique nature, comprising just seven suites, ensures an intimate and personalized experience.

3. Room Quality

The rooms at Il Battistero Siena are frequently praised for their comfort and design. Descriptions range from "airy" and "modest" to "extraordinary," "lovely large," and "cute and clean". Many rooms are well-kept and modern, featuring comfortable beds and decent-sized showers. Some even boast balconies and sitting areas, offering breathtaking views of the cathedral or the city. Period architectural details like rough-hewn exposed beams enhance the historical atmosphere, while modern design elements contribute to a low-key, neutral-toned minimalism. Stayed in a room overlooking the back of the duomo. Very nice, clean, and you felt like right in the mix of everything. Loved getting up early in the morning to walk around before the crowds came in. The restaurant out front does seem to close early during the week so not much noise at all at night. Didn't even really have to close the windows and slept wonderfully on the bed. They were not holdi...

The room we stayed in (Santa Caterina) was spotless and had the most gorgeous view. Since you're in the city center, everything is walkable and you'll want to spend every moment in the city center anyway. The staff ...

This wine shop was just perfect! From the moment you walked in you felt like home and the manager was so sweet and nice. The wines were excellent and the customer service was excellent. From sitting in a tunnel where the pope would pass through to ordering and shipping wine back to the states was all great service. Very knowledgeable and would definitely go back again. We also got to meet Giovanni...

Great location and historical residence for a stay in the heart of the city. Our windows had direct view of the cathedral across the Piazza.
