8. Common Complaints
While overall reviews are highly positive, a few minor points of feedback emerge:
- European Dining Focus: Some guests, particularly those seeking a more "authentic Japanese experience," noted that the European cuisine served at the main restaurant might feel "a bit out of place."
- Cost: The high price point, while generally seen as justified by the quality, is a recurring consideration for budget-conscious travelers.
- English Proficiency (Isolated Incident): In one instance, a guest mentioned issues with staff not speaking English and being unhelpful, though this contradicts the majority of reviews praising the multilingual and helpful staff. This appears to be an anomaly rather than a recurring issue.
- Dress Code: The smart casual dress code for dinner at the fine-dining restaurant, requiring men to wear shirts with pants covering the knees and women resort dresses or elegant outfits, might be a minor consideration for some guests. Tattoos must also be concealed in public areas.

I liked Uza, not too many 5 star service properties on Okinawa and they were very attentive. The manager especially did a great job paying attention to our experience. The private jacuzzi villa was a great romantic spot for me and my girlfriend to relax, soaking all day and doing cold plunges was great after a week exploring Okinawa. The service was always responsive, fast/on time, attentive to ou...

Overall we were disappointed in our stay at the hotel. We booked their airport pickup services. There website shows and talks about a luxury car, but we were picked up in an old white Toyota mini-van. From the start this was a disappointment. At check in we were told because we have tattoos we can’t be seen in any public areas. Dining room, breakfast, pool. We booked their premium 2 bedroom vill...

This is our second visit to Uza, our last stay being eight years ago, and it’s just as wonderful as we remembered. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful — exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Though it was a bit quieter this time, we truly appreciated the tranquility The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Our room was spotless and well-maint...

Overall is good place. Food is delicious, specially in restaurant and is served in a beautiful way. Service is fast and polite, but personnel is speaking English very poorly-have to ask and explain several times. Is raining a lot in October, big humidity, no insects, only ants. Internet is bad here and is disconnecting all the time. Location is not convenient, far from airport and is nothing to do...

AVOID AT ALL COST. HORRIBLE!! Went to visit a friend at this place and they refused to let us even near the hotel. We literally cant visit at all. Not even for a meeting or anything. They all literally stood there without any expression and unapologetic. For a hotel charging this price, it is extremely unacceptable. Horrible! Go to Ritz Carlton or wherever. Avoid this place!

We stayed here on a family trip! You won't have any inconveniences if you stay at Uza Terrace! The rooms are villa-style and completely enclosed, so you don't have to worry about people seeing you from outside, and you can even go into the pool naked! The rooms are spacious and relaxing, and there's a washing machine and detergent so you can wash your swimsuit and dirty clothes. There are also ple...
