- Maintenance Issues: Occasional minor maintenance issues, such as lingering odors in a bathroom that couldn't be fixed, have been reported, though staff actively tried to resolve them.
- Aging Hardware: A few reviews suggest that while the hotel is in immaculate condition, some elements might feel less "new and modern" compared to newer luxury properties in the city, with power outlets not always being plentiful or easily accessible.
- Lobby Atmosphere: One guest mentioned the lobby sometimes having the smell of grilled meat from the kitchen, which detracted from the expected refined atmosphere.
- Butler Service Consistency: While generally excellent, a few guests noted inconsistencies in butler service, such as changes in butlers during a short stay or needing to call twice for a coffee machine replacement.
- Breakfast for Elites: While complimentary breakfast for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite and higher is a benefit, some report it being à la carte during certain periods or having to ask for express breakfast as in-room dining to be billed extra.

Truly Exceptional Hospitality. One of the Best Hotel Teams I’ve Ever Experienced Our stay at the St. Regis Mexico City has been absolutely incredible. The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, and our room was spacious and comfortable ... but what truly sets this property apart is the people. The hotel is fantastic. Clean, beautiful and Amazing Service!! They really know how to take care of you 🙏🏼 The rooms can feel bit old and the beds were a bit soft for my liking, but the amenities are great. The restaurant options are nice, service was perfect. Great location to all many historical landmarks and museums. Felt safe and had an amazing time. Love CDMX. 📸 Click on the photos.

Stayed at the St. Regis for a week for Mexico City Art Week. Great experience. Rooms are lovely, modern with lots of conveniences and the service is fabulous. Breakfast is also substantial and delicious.

The service at this hotel is extremely good - some of the best I've had during all of my travels. Location was great as well. Rooms are a little rundown and in need of a refresh. We loved the huge play place they had for kids. Our son had a blast.

Our experience was above and beyond. Staff were outstanding! In particular Isaac Cidel who arranged to get our passports to airport after we left them behind. The wonderful driver Elizabeth raced through and we were able to board our flight within moments of closing. Every staff member did their best to improve our stay and always did their best to assist us and improve our stay. The dining and ...

Went for a New Year’s Eve party. Terrible service, people were allowed to illegally smoke indoors. Music was incredibly loud and subpar, prices were ridiculously high. Never before in my life have I seen “half a bottle” of champagne on a menu… they did replace the shitty piece of steak that they first brought with a new one, otherwise I would have left one star.
