- Water Pressure: Some guests have found the water pressure in showers to be weak, attributed to older plumbing.
- Room Amenities/Storage: A lack of closets or drawers in rooms has been noted as inconvenient for some travelers.
- Location Walkability: The immediate area around the motel is not considered very walkable to many attractions, often requiring transportation.
- Mini-bar Pricing: Items in the mini-bar are perceived as being on the pricier side.
- Event-Related Issues: On occasion, special events like the "Paradise Road Show" have led to complaints regarding unexpected additional fees for pool access or early pool closures, which were not clearly communicated during booking.

Call me shallow, but the only thing I felt was missing from the experience was a television. Look, I know it’s called The Dive Motel and some guests probably treat the rooms as such, but some modern technology may have made us want to stay on-site more. That said, I LOVE this place! I would very much consider it a “themed” room you’ll be staying in and for that reason (and the bedside offerings), ...

I’m here often, I have a seasons pool pass and I’ve been frequenting the bar for years. That may unfortunately stop after this disaster. This is my first time staying on location and I was hit with a lot of rules, fees and injuries to my guests. I was having friends meet for my birthday and while taking fun pictures in the room with our phones we noticed sharp pains in parts of our body. We pulled...

We had an amazing time at The Dive Motel! Came for a band event and it exceeded expectations. Pool access starts at 10 a.m., so we grabbed chairs early—super clean and the perfect depth for lounging with a drink. Our 60s/70s-style Penthouse room was exactly as pictured, with a private deck overlooking the property. Loved having a food truck on-site with great variety, plus a fully stocked bar wit...

As a local that frequents this location, it’s gone severely downhill, and this was evident from my FINAL visit this past weekend. Not only did we arrive to find glass all over the hotel room floor (which we cut our feet on - that’s how we found it), but the room was dirty, smelled of mold, and there were weird dark brown stains on both bedside tables (genuinely looked like spilled maple syrup all ...

I’ve been to The Dive a few times now, and every time I’m there, I smile constantly. Last year, I got to photograph a disco pool party wedding at the Dive and it was SUCH a vibe. Many of the guests stayed on site, and between the pool and late night karaoke, the whole wedding was so memorable. Hoping to host a birthday party or something fun for myself here someday soon.
