The Sentinel was so welcoming, from the first email that said how glad they were that we chose their hotel to the wonderful staff that completely cared for us likewise were long lost friends. We went to a concert at the Chrystal Ballroom and the hotel was perfectly located for grabbing delicious food on the way or in the hotel itself. Just a truly wonderful experience and we would stay again in...

Everything was good! Only minor issue was they told us to call down ~15 mins early if we valeted our car to give drivers time to grab it. We would call, get ready (which would take about 15-20 mins) then head down. All three times, we had to wait an additional 10-15 mins for our car. Like I said, minor for sure, but it would’ve been nice to have the delay communicated before heading down.

Check-in was fast and friendly, hotel layout was maybe a little confusing, maybe I was just tired. Room was very good, it would've been nice to have central lighting control. Water was $7.50, minibar was empty. Bed was comfy and clean, if a tad firm. Housekeeping came by every day, though their arrival time differed. There is significant noise from the streetcar and occasional hot rodder outside....

This hotel is beautiful. It's dark and moody.... It reminded me of the hotel in the John Wick movies. It's got understated class and loads of history. The service was good and the staff friendly. We will definitely be returning.
