Common Complaints
While largely positive, some recurring issues are mentioned by guests:
- Room Size: Despite being reasonable for Paris, some guests find the rooms "extra small" or "very tight".
- Stairs and Elevator Access: The elevator often stops between floors, requiring guests to carry their luggage up or down a short flight of stairs to reach their room. This can be particularly challenging with heavy bags or for those traveling with young children. One guest also reported encountering dark spiral staircases and no assistance with luggage.
- Maintenance Issues: Isolated complaints include toiletries not being consistently renewed, non-functioning air conditioning, absence of hand towels, and beds being too short for taller individuals. Some rooms lack facilities for making hot drinks.
- Breakfast Perceived Value: While many enjoy the breakfast, some consider it "mediocre & over priced" for what is offered.
- Damp Smell: One recent review noted a "noticeable smell of damp throughout the property" upon arrival.

My friend and I had the displeasure of staying here from 1/29-2/3. Unfortunately there’s not much I can say about enjoying our stay. To start, our room was way smaller than advertised. We’re used to efficient rooms but have never been in one this cramped. We could barely move around each other. The size of the bathroom was almost laughable. Not to mention, the shower leaked on the floor daily whil...

Had the best stay for our first time in Paris. The rooms are pretty tiny but that seems to be normal for Paris. Clean, modern, and up to date. A 2 minute walk from the nearest metro station, so getting anywhere in the city was a breeze. Would stay here again without any hesitation!

very nice staff and clean rooms! the metro line 11 is nearby. if you are sensitive to sound, you better pack some noise cancelling headphones, because the rooms are not that sound proof. again, thank you so much for your great service!!

Great location and personnel. However my room’s carpet was humid and a terrible odor I immediately noticed was coming out it. I requested a room change 10 min later, unfortunately staff couldn’t change my room because of the sole fact that I used the room’s soap and told me that moving you is literally impossible. (When we could’ve switched soaps between the two rooms If that was the main issue…) ...
