Key Highlights
Guests consistently love the hotel's location, which places them within easy walking distance of major attractions. The service and staff receive frequent accolades for their friendliness and attentiveness. The design of the hotel and its rooms, described as modern, clean, and minimalist, is also a significant draw. Amenities such as comfortable beds and refreshing rain-effect showers are also often mentioned as key highlights.
Room Quality
One Shot Prado's 39-42 rooms feature a clean, unpretentious, minimalist, and functional design, characterized by wooden flooring and soundproof windows. Guests appreciate the comfort provided by extra-comfort, American-style mattresses. A distinctive feature in the rooms is the mirror TV with HDMI connectivity. Bathrooms are well-regarded, particularly for their spacious, large rain-effect showers. Some room types also offer private balconies or terraces, providing an outdoor space to relax. While some rooms are noted as being on the smaller side, they are generally found to be comfortable and well-equipped with a mini-bar fridge and safe.
Dining Experience
One Shot Prado does not typically provide breakfast as part of its standard offering. However, guests can find complimentary tea and coffee stations available on each floor. The hotel's central location in the Barrio de Las Letras means it is surrounded by an abundance of dining establishments, including traditional tapas bars and modern restaurants, allowing guests to easily explore local cuisine. An onsite tapas bar is mentioned in some descriptions.

Common Complaints
While generally positive, some recurring criticisms include rooms being on the smaller side, and occasional issues with air conditioning, with some guests desiring cooler room temperatures. Street noise has also been noted by a few guests, though rooms often feature soundproof windows. The lack of amenities like a designated place for suitcases to unpack was also mentioned by one guest. The absence of a hotel breakfast is a point for some, though the abundance of nearby dining options typically mitigates this.

One Shot Prado 23 is a sophisticated gem perfectly positioned in the heart of Madrid’s Barrio de las Letras. For travelers who value both location and design, this hotel is an unbeatable choice. Situated just a short walk from the Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza, and Reina Sofía museums, it serves as the ultimate base for an art-focused getaway. The aesthetic is a masterclass in modern boutique style—th...

One Shot Prado was a little disappointing, the The online photos seem to embelish the hotel, our room was a little dated. It is very well situated in Madrid a very short distance to the museums and other sites. The staff also was very friendly and helpful.

The condition of the first Executive Room was unacceptable—the floors were filthy and the pipes backflowed with a disgusting stench. Even after being moved, we were left without hot water all night. I reached out to the management for a refund or compensation, but they have ignored me for three days. Absolutely terrible service and a complete nightmare.

We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed the convenient location—close to the Prado Museum, Gran Via, and Atocha Station. As first-time visitors to Madrid, we found the city incredibly walkable, and the hotel’s position on a quiet street made it even better. Our room didn’t face the road, so we had absolutely no street noise and slept very comfortably. The staff was warm and welcoming throu...

Excellent location central to all the major museums, galleries, the fabulous park El Retiro and super tapas bars and restaurants. The room we had was spacious with a terrace overlooking the road but we didn't find it too noisy at all. We liked the style and friendliness of the hotel. The staff were very helpful.

Great, convenient location. The staff was super helpful and polite. Room was clean, though as others have said, it looks a little banged up. The rooms could really use a fresh coat of paint and some refreshing, but everything was functional and clean. The only real drawbacks were the lighting in the shower/toilet area which really isn't sufficient when you want to see what you're doing, and the TV...
