3. Room Quality
Hôtel Ormelune offers 56 rooms across eight categories, spread over five floors. The room decor is resolutely modern, featuring bright, tangy colors that contrast with earthy tones, often incorporating varnished concrete surfaces and fun fittings. All rooms come with an en-suite bathroom, with most offering bathtubs (smaller rooms are equipped with smart showers), a separate WC, hairdryer, safe, flat-screen TV, and free WiFi. South-facing rooms boast balconies with splendid mountain views overlooking the ski runs, while others offer village views. Guests frequently describe the rooms as comfortable, clean, and spacious.

The buffet breakfast is consistently praised for being outstanding, ample, and offering a good variety of hot and cold options. A children's menu is also available. Half-board options are available, though it's important to note the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays, meaning half-board will cover six evening meals. We had really nice stay in the Ormelune. Staff super helpful and friendly. Rooms really clean, spacious with great shower / bath facilities (room 506). Bootroom and heated lockers simple and access to lift is short walk. Great access to town, bus, slopes and bars. Will definitely come back with family in future

Nothing really stands out except location. Everything is convenient. Nice bars and restaurants in close proximity. Next door is a great store for finding techy stuff like cables and chargers (key maker). Service is good but English speakers are scarce, to be expected in France. Surprisingly good food with Spanish cuisine and tapas, again expected in France. You could almost ski-in, lifts are close...

It is a nice hotel with a perfect location. I was mostly satisfied with my stay (mostly loved the sauna facility, breakfast and location). However, I believe the hotel doesn’t fully give the 4 star experience. The gym is very insufficient in my opinion and the rooms are quite basic yet comfortable. The isolation in between the rooms are poor. If you want to stay in a fairly good price, nice but no...

Fabulous location with 2 minute walk to slopes and 2 minute walk to center of town. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast will keep you going all day. I love the happy colors and cow theme. What truly stands out, though, is the impeccable service from the lovely staff. Marie took wonderful care of us.
