Very nice hotel. Historic. Beautiful old building. Location is incredible, especially to attend the Christmas Market right out the front door. Restaurants, bars and shopping literally around the corner. Check in was easy and friendly. Staff were very kind. Lounge is comfy. We used Bonvoy points so I can’t comment on pricing. Car park on site for 22€ for overnight. Our room was 114. Upgraded d...

I honestly had no intention of blaming the hotel in the first place. During the New Year holiday period everyone is busy, and I understand that mistakes can happen. However, what I cannot accept is the lack of follow-up and, even worse, the attempt to shift the responsibility onto me after I proactively contacted the hotel. It seems that the staff member handling this case did not properly check t...

A Masterclass in How Not to Run a Luxury Hotel Restaurant Anna at Hotel Elephant Weimar — Autograph Collection Dinner for eight. Five deluxe rooms. A bill of €1,639. And not a trace of hospitality. The evening began with promise and quickly spiraled into a study in culinary negligence. The duck liver was dry, the lamb aggressively oversalted, and the veal—cold, tough, and, apparently, immune to...

The location of the hotel is very convenient to visit the old town of Wiemar. I was in town for two days for work and had a great stay. The room is large and comfortable. The coffee maker was very nice and made good coffee, it was restocked during room cleaning. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit small for the hotel. On the second night when I returned to the hotel after dinne...

The room was a little small, but that makes sense because it is an old building. The service was great, especially for someone who doesn't speak German. There was a Christmas fair right across the street, which was so fun, and there were so many options for great food within walking distance. Also, there was super easy parking as well.

Fantastic location right on the main town square and next to Bach's former residence. Rooms are wonderful, staff is very accomodating. Restaurant was very good and the overall experienced was all very high quality. Needless to say, a hotel with a great deal of history as well definitely worth staying in!
