Our family stay at Hotel du Vin was truly exceptional. It started from smooth and welcoming check in from Jennifer. We stayed in a junior suite with en suite bathroom. The room was spotless and comfortable thanks to an amazing housekeeping team. We were also welcomed with a sweet personalized note. When we went to a bar, we were treated with delicious cocktails made by Kaya who also prepared an am...

The hotel is situated in a lovely part of town and offers a charming atmosphere. Our suite was delightful and made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Just a couple of minor issues: I would recommend not opting for the dinner supplement with your room, as it didn’t offer much value. Rather than simply deducting the dinner allowance from your bill, as I had expected, nothing seemed to be included...

We had a very nice afternoon tea here. Place was quiet and the service attentive. A bit too quiet, so felt lacking atmosphere. It was a cold February monday afternoon ! Food was good and well presented. Better than many places I have tried.

Not good. For my partner's 60th birthday we booked and pre paid to stay in the Cristal suite as it's advertised as quiet. Phoned direct to reception to confirm room and booking two days before arrival. Told all good by reception that the Cristal suite was booked under our name. After a 6 hour drive to the hotel only to be told they had sold the room. My partner was very upset. The guy on the fron...

Brilliant Burns Night at Hotel du Vin Just attended the Burns Night at Hotel du Vin Edinburgh and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere, delicious food, perfectly paired whisky, and a lively haggis address that set the tone for the night. Staff were warm, attentive, and made the whole evening feel special. A memorable celebration — I’d happily come back next year.
