Review: Beautiful Shell, Lacking Substance Rating: ★★★☆☆ The architecture of this hotel is undeniably stunning. Staying in such a beautifully restored historic building provides a wonderful initial atmosphere, but unfortunately, the five-star experience ends at the facade. For a luxury establishment, the service and attention to detail are significantly below industry standards. The Room & Ameniti...

We had a spectacular stay at the Fera Palace. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a warm, personalised, and intimate experience. The hotel beautifully blends a distinctly Brazilian character with a modern contemporary style. I particularly loved the rooftop pool — a perfect spot to relax and take in the views.

The hotel is very beautiful, and even the smallest details show that it is aligned with other five-star hotels around the world. The rooftop is truly a gem, and the service was excellent. Nothing to complain about at all. I would definitely recommend it.

This hotel is beautiful, but the restaurant staff are extremely rude. Not only is any simple request treated as a huge deal, they do not speak any English or Spanish. We speak fluent English and Spanish and on several occasions, we literally couldn’t even get milk or hot water because of language barrier. I don’t understand how you could work in luxury hospitality, and not speak any common languag...

A very decently renovated historical building in the historical center of Salvador. They’ve aimed for a luxury vibe and it wasn’t a terrible attempt at it. Staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful, expect maybe for the hotel’s restaurant, where every request is treated almost as an imposition. Rooms are a bit small, but for a short stay in the city it will do the job.
