8. Common Complaints
While overall feedback is highly positive, a few minor issues have been noted:
- One guest initially found their assigned room "very crowded and uncomfortable" but was promptly upgraded to a more spacious and comfortable room. This suggests that room size can vary, and it's advisable to specify preferences or consider larger room categories when booking.
- The breakfast room was noted by one large family as not being spacious enough to comfortably accommodate their group.
- It's important to note that the spa and wellness center was reportedly undergoing renovation until March 31, 2023, which could affect availability of these facilities.
- One older snippet mentioned "staff pretty poor," but this appears to be an outlier, contradicted by the vast majority of recent and detailed positive feedback regarding staff service.

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Dear Google Maps Community, The location is fantastic, and special thanks go to receptionist Vanessa and the kind housekeeping staff. They truly do their best. Unfortunately, for over €450 for two nights, we were disappointed: • Both rooms we stayed in were worn: swollen door frames, broken furniture, mold in the bathroom, and some fixtures didn’t work. • The rooftop terrace ...

Rooms - We were traveling in a group of 10. In the group of rooms we reserved, there were 2 luxury suites which consisted of 2 rooms/beds and 2 bathrooms for 3 adults in each suite. We ended up getting 1 luxury suite and 1 “upgrade” to an apartment type room (advertises as a 2 person max room) that had 1 bedroom, a living room with 2 couches and 2 bathrooms. After we checked in we talked to the...

The location is optimal for tourism. The room was comfortable and spacious. There were certain details though, very minor (in the kitchen and on the edge of the floor in the shower), that could be repaired. They have no functional importance, but give a bad impression. The jewel of this place is the staff!! all of them were super friendly, warm, and helpful, the cleaning ladies, the breakfast girl...

We went to the Duomo Suites & SPA for a Spa Package (access to wet area and a 45 min massage for two people for 170 EUR). Everything was well explained and the staff was friendly. The wet area (Turkish bath, sauna & jacuzzi) had nice and modern equipments and was clean. Some things were broken (clothes hooks) and some part of the walls could use a fresh coat of paint to give the place a higher-end...

Liked: The location is perfect - not a misnomer - it sits a block away from the piazza where the duomo sits. The area is lined with cafes and options for restaurants, pharmacy, and small grocery stores. The area is central and that is what you're paying for! The staff are very kind and helpful. Vanessa was really great and I'm forgetting the other lady's name but she was incredibly friendly and pr...

The hotel was fine but I would not call it 4 stars. I also would emphasize it is more of a bed and breakfast and not hotel as there is not 24/7 check in or front desk service. The room itself was ok. There was quite a bit of damage on the walls, and the shower head did not work so we were stuck with the hand held one. It’s also on a busy street. Which is fine, we stayed in a room on a very busy s...
