They feature an open-concept design, lined with polished concrete and artisan-made tiles, and are outfitted with natural materials such as linen duvets and woven raffia lampshades. Each room is unique and includes air conditioning, a private bathroom with rainfall showers, organic pour-over coffee stations, and often a private wooden pergola with a hammock and outdoor lounge space offering views of cacti and desert flowers. A notable detail is the hotel's water filtration system, which makes all tap water safe and drinkable, reducing the need for bottled water.

Los Cabos International Airport is approximately an hour's drive away. While the hotel provides free parking, a car is recommended for exploring the surrounding area, as some roads can be rough; a 4x4 is even suggested by one source.
Value & Pricing
Guests generally perceive Desierto Azul as offering excellent value, often describing it as a "luxury oasis" that is well worth the cost for the unique experience it provides. While specific price ranges are not widely published in the reviews, the hotel's status as a Michelin Key property and the high-end amenities and service suggest a premium pricing structure. The emphasis on sustainability, exceptional design, and personalized service contributes to its perceived value.

Absolutely fanatic trip at Desierto Azul. Don’t think twice! The property and staff exceeded our expectations. We so looked forward to the delicious healthy breakfast everyday and spending time at the divine pool. The staff and owners are gems. We came for our daughter’s first birthday and they even surprised her with a cake and candle. We will be back! Heartfelt thanks for everything!

We spent a week here in February and loved every minute of it. It was a 10 minute drive to town, a 10 minute walk to the beach (where we saw whales frolicking on a daily basis) and a 10 minute drive to the Green Room for sunset cocktails and bites. The room was peaceful and quiet, and we were very impressed at their very real commitment to sustainability. Major plus was drinkable water from the...

With only 4 rooms, it was quiet and welcoming, with the most amazing level of service from all of the staff.
