Guests generally feel the experience is well worth the cost, given the high level of service, quality of accommodations, and excellent location. City tax applies per person, per night, with varying rates depending on the season and age.

8. Common Complaints

While overwhelmingly positive, some minor points of feedback have occasionally been mentioned:

  • Noise Sensitivity: One guest noted that rooms might not be well-isolated, which could be a concern for those sensitive to noise.
  • Room Description Accuracy: In one instance, a guest felt the room description on a booking platform was misleading regarding a "Junior Suite."
  • Small Building Size: As a small guest house, it does not offer the extensive facilities of a large hotel, such as a full-service restaurant or a dedicated hotel bar beyond in-room minibars. The communal areas are limited to living areas, a library, and the breakfast room.

We stayed in DD694, the annex of DD724; and it was GREAT! The hotel staff were so welcoming, nice, and accommodating. Location is secluded in a great neighborhood. Breakfast included each morning with your stay was such a nice touch. We will return to Venice and stay here every time! Love this place.
