I had the suite in the main building. On the top floorso low ceilings and could get quite hot so I definitely wouldn’t recommend it during the summer; nonetheless, great staff and enjoyed myself. Great view of the mountains and the sea from the top.

Everything about the hotel is charming. The buildings and gardens are charming, the rooms are charming, the staff on reception are charming, the poll areas are charming and the courtyard restaurant is charming. The village of Erbalunga is also charming. We went to unwind and relax for a couple of days. It was perfect.

We were disappointed with the hotel in general. Despite the setting, they have squeezed too many rooms onto the property and the common areas as not dimensioned to match. The model is very much one of guests staying for 2/3 days max and using the hotel as a base rather than relaxing there. This was clear from the fact that any time we used the small gym later in the morning we were sharing it with...

Lovely hotel in a small village. Free yoga classes on Thursdays. Jazz concerts. The beaches at a walk distance are okay. The garden is wonderful.

We stayed here 21 yrs ago, when it was a much smaller establishment. Our recent 1 night stay - in the cheapest room in the house - was extremely pleasant. As regards throom, the only (minor) problem was a lack of bath grab bars and difficult to control water temperature in the shower. All service personnel were endearingly pleasant. The hotel courtyard is lovely, and you dine there, in good weath...

Incredibile traditional building, doesn't feel like a hotel, feels like a prestigious house in which you're a premium guest. The staff is welcoming and effective, the rooms clean with a great bathroom. The atmosphere reminds me of my elders' houses with shelves full of books and miscellaneous antique items everywhere. Didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but breakfast buffet was perfect with...
