This hotel has been ideal for us. Came on holiday with our toddler. Had a family room which included 2 bunk beds and a heavy curtain separator to the main room. Lots of space and very good sound insulation. The staff have been top shelf, so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is 20 seconds walk to the gondola and there is a kids ski school and beginner slopes right at the gondola as well. The hotel h...

The good: Although the room was quite small, it was nicely decorated, it was very clean, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom had Nuxe products. Breakfast was good with a decent variety of hot and cold options. Reception staff was very friendly. The bad: The rooms have basically 0 soundproofing, we could hear everything both from outside and from the hallway. The spa has a lot of wasted potent...

The advertised spa is basically a pool with a lot of noise, heavy reverberation, a small hammam (directly next to the pool, so good luck finding any calm), and a sauna outside. If you are a family looking for a place to let your children run wild and unattended, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a place to have normal social interactions and possibly even some calm after the slopes...

Dear Braunbär team, This is our eighth consecutive stay at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and organized, and our stay was very pleasant. The gondola and train station were also very convenient. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the restaurant. The food was really not good, and we had hoped for better. It was just reheated food, and it was really not enjoyable. Otherwise, it wa...

In the heart of the beautiful Wengen, customer service is superb as well as beautiful view in every room. We had the room with the loft and it is absolutely STUNNING. The pool/spa/ sauna area is THE BEST Whatever you do tho, do not go to the Swiss Made gift shop adjacent , they are rude and disrespectful to all their customers.

Response from the owner

The drinking water fountain downstairs has great tasting glacial water. Excellent Ski room to dry/ store your equipment. Walk to the train or lifts, ski on a blue trail to a short 2 minute walk back to the hotel. Break...
