- Another review mentioned some outdoor maintenance issues, such as overgrown weeds in the garden by a room, a non-working sauna, and mold on shower tiles. (It's worth noting that the hotel has since advertised a new wellness area with a sauna and outdoor hot tub, which may address previous issues with these amenities.)
- The hotel's location on a steep hill means the walk back from the town center can be challenging for some guests.
- Rooms are not accessible to persons with reduced mobility.

We discovered this restaurant through the Michelin Guide and chose it for the last evening of our honeymoon – and what a perfect choice it was. Although we had enjoyed many excellent restaurants during our trip, this was truly the crowning finale. We didn’t stay overnight, but only came for dinner, and the experience was unforgettable. The breathtaking view of Mont Blanc, the beautifully decorated...

This is the best restaurant in Chamonix. Absolutely sensational. Fantastic food, fantastic service, even met Quentin. Spectacular wine and drinks list. We went for lunch on Sunday which was great value for such a good meal. Great setting with beautiful views. A real treat!

We could not recommend this hotel more highly! The rooms were beautiful and the view of the mountains from each were stunning. Not to mention a top tier team at the front desk! We were helped with booking activities, finding great restaurants, etc. and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We can't wait to come back!

The entire experience with the hotel, staff, and restaurant was wonderful. The Christmas Eve tasting menu was the best meal of our honeymoon. The views of Mont Blanc from the room are incredible. And finally, the staff has helped me retrieve items that were left at the hotel after departing. Many thanks to Auberge du Bois Prin!

We had the misfortune to eat dinner here on a recent visit. We ordered the 7 course tasting menu. We sat down at 7pm. At 10pm we had just gotten 4 courses! There was a large party that was getting preferential service. When we spoke with our server about the long wait, she didn't acknowledge that it was a problem. Instead, she apparently went to the chef to inform him of this and chaos ensued...

The meal we had at Auberge Du Bois Prin was absolutely spectacular. We went during a trip to France during which we ate at many restaurants, including in Paris and at Albert 1er, but this was by far our favorite meal we had during our trip. The setting of the restaurant is extraordinary - the dining room is beautiful and open, and each table feels private, not to mention the amazing views of Mont...
