Many rooms include a courtesy tray with coffee and tea, and a small library. Notably, some guests appreciate the absence of televisions, contributing to a sense of authenticity and tranquility.

4. Dining Experience

The dining experience is a significant strength of Au Presbytère de Saigneville. Breakfast, served daily between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM, includes a classic French option (bread, viennoiserie, butter, jams) as part of the room rate. Guests can also opt for a savory or healthy breakfast for an additional €8, which might include eggs, cold meats, cheese, smoothies, or granola.

The "table d'hôtes gastro-locavore" dinner is a highlight, available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings by reservation (at least 48 hours in advance). This unique, seasonal menu emphasizes fresh, local, and regional products from Picardy and the Bay of Somme, with creative twists on classic recipes. Definitely somewhere i would visit again. Safe enough parking for my motorbike closely guarded by resident cat. Fabulous dinners cooked by owners are worth booking too. Great location in a quiet village but close enough to place to visit.

We had high expectations due to so many good reviews, and it managed to exceed these expectations. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, there is a superbly calm relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are extremely comfortable and stylish. The caravans an absolute treat. And the food is as good as we've had in a long time in France. And as for the beer.... Great for an overnight stop before or after the C...

Wow! We enjoyed our stay here so much. The Presbitary is located in a small street in an even smaller village 😊 We arrived early but were welcomed warmly and the owners allowed us to deposit our bags in our room before check in that evening. In the room (very spacious) you can find an espresso machine and tea selection. It was very clean. The whole place feels authentic as some of the original wo...

We stayed from December 29th to 31st, 2025, in one of the rooms at the presbytery. Vanessa and Joël gave us a wonderful welcome, both upon arrival and at breakfast, which was delicious and very generous. They take excellent care of their guests. A beautiful place to stay in peace and quiet and make the most of the Bay of Somme. Go for it without hesitation!

Response from the owner

Thank you both. Looking forward to it.

A beautiful location in a renovated building. Joël and Vanessa are great hosts and are happy to help with any questions about the restaurant, sights, and local events. We enjoyed a delicious meal on-site from the chef's menu. The local beer, 8 Octante, is delicious. Highly recommended.
