Venice is my favorite city in the world and I loved the scenery. The window I get looked over the canals, which is pretty cool in my opinion. They arranged (for a fee) transfer from airport with taxi and water taxi which was great (but on way out due to tides this wasn’t able to be done, but easy to get vaparetto at 5 min walk.
