The sentiment leans towards awe and deep satisfaction with the property's aesthetics and offerings, despite some recurring service-related criticisms.
2. Key Highlights
Guests consistently laud several aspects of Château de la Messardière:
- Design & Ambiance: The hotel is described as breathtakingly beautiful, both historic and updated, with a "fairy-tale castle" aesthetic combined with Mediterranean-style villas. The perfectly maintained gardens, surrounded by umbrella pines, cypress trees, and jasmine, contribute to a sense of tranquility and class.
- Amenities: The property boasts exceptional facilities, including four distinct pools (a shell-shaped mosaiced pool, a 25-meter lap pool, an indoor spa pool, and a kids' club pool), a luxurious Valmont spa, a well-equipped fitness center, tennis courts, and a dedicated kids' club with a cinema, mini-farm, and treehouse. The complimentary Rolls-Royce transfers to town and the hotel's beach club, Jardin Tropezina, are a highly appreciated perk.

This elevated position provides a sought-after sense of quiet seclusion while remaining easily accessible to the town and beaches via shuttle service.
3. Room Quality

This is the norm, not the exception. Even if it happened accidentally, it's not an attack on the consumer's health or life. The hotel itself was beautiful. Food was incredible. Service was good in general. But I forgot my cap (€680) in the room when I checked out. I called the hotel, they said they didn’t find it. I was 100% sure it was left in the hotel because I left in rush and left on the table. Maybe the cleaner wasn’t honest. I hope the hotel could have checked CCTV and find out the truth.
