The Neptun restaurant at Zamek Łeba is a culinary highlight. It's highly rated for both its delicious dinners and excellent breakfast buffet. The cuisine skillfully blends traditional Polish and Mediterranean flavors with a modern approach, emphasizing fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients, particularly fish and seafood. French influences are also noted in the preparation, often involving "a little butter." The breakfast spread is generous, offering continental, buffet, and à la carte options, including fresh bread, local cold cuts and cheeses, various egg preparations, hot dishes, fruits, vegetables, and homemade preserves. The restaurant's patisserie is a source of particular pride, with desserts attracting gourmets from across Poland.

8. Common Complaints

  • Service & Bureaucracy: A few guests encountered staff who were perceived as overly bureaucratic or rigid in enforcing rules, impacting flexibility for guests. Issues with unhelpful reception staff regarding specific requests or ensuring reservations were honored were also mentioned.
  • Room Specifics: Some rooms, particularly bathrooms, were described as small or featuring older fixtures that could benefit from an update. The use of simple plastic chairs on balconies, not matching the hotel's overall elegance, was also a minor point of criticism.
  • Dining Reservations: A few guests reported difficulty accessing the restaurant without a reservation, even when it appeared empty, or noted early closing times for dining options on certain days.
  • Connectivity: Weak or unsecured Wi-Fi signal was mentioned by some as an area for improvement.
  • Pricing Discrepancies: Complaints arose regarding parking fees, specifically a perceived differentiation in pricing between guests booking through various platforms and the hotel directly.
  • Noise from Events: Occasionally, private events held at the hotel during guest stays were noted to cause disturbances, hindering a peaceful retreat.
  • Amenity Availability: One guest noted a single couple monopolizing the jacuzzi for an entire day, limiting access for others.

Our stay at Łeba Castle was very nice. The location of the hotel is ideal one and the restoration of the hotel is great, may be only with one negative defect - external windows in such historical building never should be plastic ones.

I’m Polish-American, and let’s be real—Poland (like France) just doesn’t get customer service. It’s not in the mindset or culture here. If you’ve lived most of your life in the U.S. or the UK, you can spot it instantly—just reading a hotel’s replies or comments makes it obvious they have no clue what customer service even means. And charging 300 a night for a bird? That’s not “service,” that’s ei...

Dawid in particular helped guide me through cocktails and vodkas availab...

Awesome view of beach and baltic sea; delicious food, friendly staff, well selected music and very well adjusted loudness (not too loud, not annoying, no bass boom blasting); we had chicken with spatzle and paprika sauce, the bread was tasty; there is a parking lot for guests outside the gate under trees; on one side of the hotel there is the beach, and on the other side there is the forest; there...
