Guests consistently highlight the hotel's magical location, impeccable service, and sophisticated design as its strongest assets. The property boasts magnificent grounds that gently slope down to the Odet estuary, providing serene river views and numerous intimate spots to relax under pine trees. The presence of a Michelin-starred restaurant, Les Trois Rochers, further elevates the experience. The attentive and multilingual staff also receives frequent commendation for their hospitality.

Some accommodations are also fully adapted for guests with reduced mobility.

Dining Experience

The culinary highlight of Villa Tri Men is its Michelin-starred restaurant, "Les Trois Rochers." Under the guidance of Chef Frédéric Claquin, the restaurant is celebrated for its exquisite and subtle cuisine, primarily focusing on fresh, local, and marine products, earning a high rating for food quality. Diners can enjoy their meals in a charming dining room or on an outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean and garden. A buffet breakfast, featuring good quality local products, is offered for an additional charge of approximately €25 for adults and €15 for children. For alternative dining, a bistro restaurant, Le Bistrot du Bac, is conveniently located within walking distance at the port.

Location & Accessibility

The hotel boasts an enviable location in Sainte-Marine, on the Odet river bank, directly overlooking the estuary and adjacent to Sainte-Marine port. This peaceful setting offers direct access to the sea via the hotel's garden. The charming port, with its lively bars and restaurants, is just a short walk away. A ferry provides easy access to Bénodet, and the hotel serves as an ideal base for exploring Quimper and the wider South Brittany region. Private on-site parking is available free of charge.

Value & Pricing

Villa Tri Men is generally considered to offer a reasonable price for the quality and experience it provides, especially when compared to other hotels in its category. Room rates for 2025 start from €148.00 for a double room and €360.00 for a family room. While the buffet breakfast is an optional extra at around €25 per adult, guests feel the overall value is strong given the luxurious amenities and exceptional service.

Common Complaints

While overwhelmingly positive, a few minor criticisms have been noted by guests. The breakfast, though praised for its quality, was occasionally considered expensive by some at around €25 per person. One guest mentioned that the Michelin restaurant only offered a mandatory fish menu without an à la carte option, which was problematic for those with specific dietary preferences. Minor issues like poor bedroom reading lights and bathroom lighting were also reported by a guest. However, these appear to be isolated incidents rather than recurring issues.

We loved our stay in this small but oh so beautiful hotel. We had a very large room with a private terrace but we spent much of our time walking around the area. The location is perfect in this small village - we never tired of seeing the different boats or walking along the beach. We had dinner one night in their gourmet restaurant and another in their sister restaurant out on the harbor. Very di...

I had one of the best desserts of my life at the restaurant. The breakfast was also delicious - I highly recommend getting some eggs alongside all the patisseries. Our room was open and comforting, the decorations were modern, and the service was always really nice. A great place, we'd be happy to come back.

Our room was nice, however the reception staff arrogante, we were addressed at times as if we were children or in a too familiar slang language by the reception lady in her +40's. A small welcoming gesture would have made the stay a little special for our celebration which they were aware of. Dommage.

This is a lovely small boutique hotel in a charming small port town. My husband and I were blown away by the degustation. We had a wonderful langoustine dish and a truly memorable chocolate pudding with cassis. There were lots of little surprises with the food.

It was a beautiful and well-cared for hotel with wonderful staff in a most incredible setting on the banks of the Odet. We wished we could stay for ever but it has provided us with the tonic we needed! We had dinner at the hotel's sister restaurant Bistro Du Bac just down the road. This was eq...
